Bought the Openroad4wd roll up tonneau cover. Installed it and it is not waterproof like the company states. Curious if anyone else has this cover and could share any tips for installing it. Instructions are no help and the few videos I have watched are not detailed enough. I really want to like this cover but so far its disappointing. Emailed company and no response.

I watched the product video for the brand you posted. From the assembly and install it looks like it's the same product that's sold on Amazon as the ONINE brand, which is what I have.

What I noticed installing mine was that one strip of foam tape across the fwd bed rail was insufficient hight to make contract with the "roll up box" so at least couple strips stacked may be necessary to fill that gap. Idk if yours has the rubber flap that covers that area when installed but maybe check it didn't get tucked in when the box was set down. Also, final positioning for where it rests on the tailgate I moved it back far enough to give sufficient overlap before mounting it hard down. Without sealing around the sides and bottom of the tailgate you may get water through there.

We had some heavy rain for a few days but to be fair I didn't have the drain pipes routed out of the bed yet so idk if mine is a dry install yet.

I didn't really have high expectations with mine because of the cost and source but it's turned out to be pretty good for what it is. Hope this helps some.
