Towing, with the max tow package this thing supposedly tows the most out of any midsized truck. I actually was shopping it against an f150, but didn't need or want that much truck.

I second this, I'm still in the breaking in period and it noticeably slows the truck when it downshifts while trying to coast

Coming from a track background even "race cars" air down before events, compared to daily driving pressures. (Not nearly as much as offroad youtube videos have me believing)

Thanks for the conclusion! I got a max tow solely for towing my RV because my tacoma struggle bussed it up hills and in reverse. Going 20-30minutes slightly overweight is understandable if you are careful, pulling my 4000lb rig down 70miles of off road trails was not a happy day for my tacoma...

Dude, that would destroy your springs... the truck is rated for something like 1300lbs in the bed and cab combined so if you are weightless and you put 2 tons of shit in the bed you won't be enjoying driving the truck after you've unloaded it. You could easily snap a spring on any bump with that...

So this may be he most philistine of all, my jeep came without the little plastic pieces that connect the sport bumper to the fenders blocking the air into the wheel well. I'm seriously considering purchasing those for the extra imaginary mpg gains. I figure they are probably the most removed...

Picked up my sport s with max tow on 11/12 from contemporary automotive in Milford NH. I didn't order this one custom, just put a deposit on it before it hit their lot. Car buying is getting weird...
