  1. Deciding on rims in Germany. Help from the states appreciated :) Do you guys know AMERICAN RACING KMC KM539 PORTAL rims?

That’s a solid move. I’m in Stuttgart and I’m missing my gladiator. Good luck. “DakarCorse is the most widely used and efficient option for heavy off -road. The structure of the wheel is specifically designed for off-road and desert driving, while the lips and the rim width are optimized for...
  2. Deciding on rims in Germany. Help from the states appreciated :) Do you guys know AMERICAN RACING KMC KM539 PORTAL rims?

Have you looked at evo corse or Aev salta xr? The evo’s would be easy to get in Germany since they are manufactured in Italy for rally racing. I can’t confirm but I think the Aev salta xr’s are made for Aev by evo as well. What is the exact load rating are you looking for? Do they just have to...
  3. Need solutions for front camera relocation on ARB Full Classic

I would be interested too. I reached out to them, but they of course said it would only work with either bumper. I really like the arb bumpers but a relocating the camera would be great.
  4. Gladiator Engine Choice

Think they might be talking about doing a regear… since they also mention 4.88 in the gasser. I hope so, since all the diesels come with what the previous poster added. Does Aev even change gears from the diesel jt370s (only mention this because the op basically just described a jt370)
  5. Rubicon/Mojave Rock Rail Paint Color?

Aev flat black. You can buy a can of it at north ridge 4x4. I’ve used it on my rock rails and my arb bumper that was a little beat up during shipping. link. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/60306010aa-aev-black-textured-touch-up-paint
  6. Has anyone modified their Rock Rails by welding on step bars (like this)?

This is exactly what I want. It’s similar to the setup, if not the same that expedition overland did to their gladiator.
  7. Uwharrie - Daniel Trail - Think about trying it ?

That’s awesome. I was out there today around midday. I ran dickie bell for the first time. Daniel just is a bit too much for me tackle at the moment.
  8. State of the trail- Uwharrie?

I have yet to do Daniel or dickie bell, but every other trail shouldn’t be an issue with 35s. The groups and the state manage the trails very well. I live like 45mins away from uwharrie, I literally turn left out of my drive way and just go straight until I get to Troy. Having three different...
  9. Customer Gets Creative with MAXIMUS-3 JT Overland Bed Rack

    I have the same question.
  10. Steering wheel

No worries. That was my first impression/ thought too but, it’s actually worse after washing my hands. I thought it actually might be my water at work or my house might be too soft or something. I’ve gotten into my truck waving work and I usually wash up before I leave and that’s when I notice...
  11. Steering wheel

That glaze will get you every time
  12. Steering wheel

No, I rarely use hand sanitizer because of that. I’m might of had gas on my hands after getting gas or something. For me it happened on my 08’ ram and 14’ grand Cherokee. I had the steering wheel replaced under warranty for the ram though.
  13. Steering wheel

Ah just some leather conditioner. I have some for my motorcycle jackets. I’ll try that tonight.
  14. Steering wheel

Seems simple enough. Any issues with the polish coming off on your hands?
  15. Steering wheel

Has anyone else noticed that their steering wheel sticky feel and started to peel? This is the 3rd mopar vehicle I have had and each has had this issue. Each was a leather steering wheel. I don’t think it is from a chemical solvent or anything. Looking for input.
  16. Suspension Package VS Frankenstein build

I went the frankenlift route. It really depends on if the coil shock combo was developed to compliment each other and if they are tuned properly. It also depends on what your goals are. For a great everyday ride and exploring or a more advanced and extreme terrain adventurer. Aev would be my...
  17. Bilstein 5100s anyone?

I have them on mine. I really like them a lot. The on road behavior is fantastic. Compared to the stock Fox on the jtr, there is no more excessive sway or lean. I get that the jtr isn’t a rally truck, but for long distance highway driving, the sway was incredibly taxing in the body. Offroad...
  18. Taking the plunge on wheels and tires. Holy moly…

Not all Aev where are made in China. The salta XRs are made in Italy for Aev. I actually think they are made by evo corsa, which manufacture rally wheels and other Motorsport racing wheels. I can’t confirm that they are made by evo but it’s my logical guess.
  19. INEOS Grenadier

It’s a pretty interesting evolution of the concept of “the market took what I wanted away, so I’ll just make it.” they have had legal issues with LR over the body panels I think. They are also basing their North America office in North Carolina. Motor is a bmw in-line six. Good payload too.
  20. Better (factory) springs?!?

I have the eibach springs. I like them a lot coming from the stock rubicon springs and shocks. If you like the rubi shocks you could always just add the shock extensions to save on cost. With the bumper and winch you will drop a little bit, but it won’t compress your springs too much. synergy...
