  1. Magnetic JT Armor, Thoughts?

Sorry, that is incorrect. When I bought mine, I thought they were as you describe, a silicone-like rubber that clings to the paint and is easy to remove. Instead, it is a super adhesive material similar to thick 3M tape. You can remove it, but it is not an easy process. So I have left mine on...
  2. Magnetic JT Armor, Thoughts?

I doubt it. This material is a very thick, strong tape. Kind of like 3m double side tape but thicker. Clear would be great to have so you could see your actual paint color. Or if they could match your paint color would be cool.
  3. Magnetic JT Armor, Thoughts?

Yes, I sent a picture last year.
  4. Magnetic JT Armor, Thoughts?

I bought the MEK from Monica last year. We put it in before our Jepp Jamboree trip to Top of the Ozarks. It works great. I put it on and have left it on. We get lots of compliments.
  5. Gator Green Rocklander Build

Love your Gator build. I was also looking at the Wheel Vintiques Smoothies but am going with the STeel spare wheel look. I am sticking with skinny tires (35x10.5 or 35x11.5)
  6. Mopar 2" lift kit

I did before and after measurements, and ended up with 1.5 inch increase at all 4 corners. I also measured the change in the side-to-side location for the front and rear axles. There rear axle/wheels moved left toward driver side 1/8th of an inch. The front axle moved right to passenger side...
  7. Mopar 2" lift kit

I bought my Mopar lift last year for $1100 delivered to my home. Then had my dealer, Mckinney Dodge City, install it for $800. I was going to do it myself, but got lazy and had it done. My Gator Rubicon rides like the factory Setup.
  8. Is the factory LED light upgrade worth it?

I believe they are well worth it. I had a JK wrangler that had the halogens and I couldn’t see crap with those. I replaced them with JW Speaker lights (gen 1). Cost me $400. They were very good , but not as good as the OEM leds.
  9. Spare tire- steel wheel

I have been looking for one but the spare wheel doesn’t have any nubs inside or outside to hold a cover. I have purchased some old fashioned spring steel hub cap retainers that I could mount between each lug nut, but haven’t located a moon cap with dimensions that look to fit.
  10. Spare tire- steel wheel

Thanks for the reply. I know this about wheels but am curious if you are satisfied with drivability of the 37’s.
  11. Spare tire- steel wheel

That is a good looking wheel. What size is it? Can you get it without the perimeter bolts? And are those 37 inch tires?
  12. Spare tire- steel wheel

I bought 4 steel wheels for $79 each and free shipping. I am painting them to match my Gator Rubicon. I am torn on going with 37’s or 35’s.
  13. TSB steering box review

We had a 2018 JKU sport that drove decently unless there were high cross winds or passing/being passed by trucks on the highway. Overall not too bad, even comfortable with one hand on the wheel. Traded for the JT Rubicon and became very nervous with the steering. My wife wouldn’t drive anymore...
  14. Wrapping - protection/facia sills rockers

Back in June, I installed the MEK body protection kit. We went the Jeep Jamboree in Southern Missouri and it worked great. It is adhesive and very thick. A little expensive but worth it. We get lots of complements.
  15. Spare tire- steel wheel

I have the JT Rubicon and I weighed the Falken AT 33” aluminum Rubicon tire/wheel and steel wheel spare on a bathroom scale. I got 87.4 lbs for aluminum wheel/tire and 90lbs for steel wheel (Initially 89.6 but it changed to 90 and stay there after several attempts). I did use a 2x8 on the scale...
  16. Gator Gladiator 37 Inch Tires NO lift "Yet"

Wow, that looks really great. How is the performance with the 37"? And does the heavier tires add any pounding to the ride? Enjoy your ride!
  17. Tonneau Cover Photos and Fit, I need help making a choice.

Sorry, I meant Rough Country, not Rugged Ridge. I need to read my own post better!
  18. Tonneau Cover Photos and Fit, I need help making a choice.

I went with the Rugged Ridge hard trifold. It was about $680. And seems to be well made. It is easy to install, fits very well, even with the bed rail system. I wish it could flip up the 3rd panel but it is easy to remove. Haven’t had any water leaks even when at the car wash.
  19. Magnetic JT Armor, Thoughts?

I just traded my Jk for the JT. I used the Smittybilt Mag Armor when we would go offroad. Clean the body before putting the pieces on. Then take off as soon as we got home. Drove from Dallas to Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree and home. Palo Duro is the definition of dust! Later to Kentucky Jamboree...
