When you were looking for a shop to do the engine swap, did you contact Collins Bro. Jeep? They're in TX. Beautiful Mojave, I'd love to change out mine for one of the smaller HEMI's
exactly as you say. First time we had been driving around town in Florida. Vehicle was thoroughly warmed up. Went into a store for about 40 minutes, come out, started to drive out the lot and boom, starts flashing and dinging for less than five minutes. the second time 4K miles later almost the...
My 22 falls into your category. Two flashing CELs when driving off (under 15mph), after the vehicle has been parked after being fully heated up on a drive. Both times were almost identical situations, flashing CEL comes on briefly then goes off. Jeep never runs rough. Both times P0300.
same here, picked up my Jeep from the dealer yesterday after taking it in for the flashing CEL. Was told engineering was working on a fix and not to attempt repair. They quoted the same STAR case. See attached photo.
for the record, my truck had the first flashing CEL at 2300 miles and the...
Took the Truck to the dealer yesterday. They called me in the afternoon and basically said the vehicle is running fine (which it was other than the CEL coming on). They said that Jeep engineering is aware of the P0300 errors and is working to resolve it. They referenced a STAR case (See photo)...
I don't drive mine everyday, so today it just sat. Tomorrow I have an errand to run so I’ll see if the CEL is still on. If it is I’ll bring it by the dealer for them to check and clear it. I’m keeping a running log on the previous incident and this one. I hate to have them rip into it when it’s...
My view is, if it’s running well I’m not going to sweat it. I’ll just take mine over to the dealer, have them check the code and clear it. If they want to keep it and trouble shoot it fine. If not I’ll keep driving it and keep my log of incidents.
Well it finally happened again, flashing CEL. We’re at 6700 miles now , the first time it happened was back in June at 2300 miles. Identical situation as the first incident. Drove the Jeep in the morning to and from church (very short distance, less than a mile.) decided to go to lunch, no...
Im picking up some plants this week for a landscape project I'm into. I'll be using the Gladiator to make several trips to pick up the shrubs. I probably should have something covering the bed but I don't see any place to tie a tarp across the top. There are tiedowns in the bed, but nothing I...
