You need a smaller diameter driveshaft with a dual CV joint to get clearance with the skid plate and more downtravel. Really 3.5" is the max on the front shaft. You can disconnect your sway bar and see that the driveshaft CV joint at the transfer case will "hold" the axle up. Disconnect the...
I did spacers on max tow on my 2020 with 35's it actually was pretty decent. On my 2022 diesel sport s I did the metal cloak. Metal cloak is like floating on clouds but has nowhere near the weight capacity of the clayton stuff. If I had a heavy bed rack or RTT clayton would have been my go to.
I got my worst MPG this weekend fully loaded with 2 adults dog and 350-400 lbs in the bed of camping gear climbing the pass from sea level to 6800ft and driving around town. 19.8MPG. filled up and checked hand calc its around 19.2mpg real world. Thats been my worst mpg.
My 2020 gas model on...
For me its shocks....3000-5000$ for 4 shocks? Get real.
Plus these jeeps are crazy capable with only a minor lift. You really really dont need that 18 arm triple forged heim joint with bypass bump stop shocks if your not on 42's with a bobbed bed.
I have a banks derringer tuner which adds fuel+ boost and this raises EGT's a bit. I leave it set to level 6. Climbing the I80 pass I do see high oil tempratures on the climbs but they drop on the descents. I have never had a derate with adults+dog+camping gear. I also hold 75-80mph on hot days...
Yep. This is what needs to be done.
I ended up chipping the plastic fuel cap piece trying to remove it in-vehicle.
So I ordered a whole new assembly....removed the piece I needed from it on the vice. Then i put a wrag in the one on the jeep and used my side cutters to cut slits in and pried...
This. I made the mistake of buying my third 3.6L pentaturd vehicle in my 2020 gladiator and man....I wish they had this diesel when ibought that thing. I would have had 40k happy miles. Not 40k rattly rough idling multiple misfire miles.
Im getting 22MPG average combined city but mostly mountain highway with 38" tires. 19 seems pretty low especially when I cruise at 75-80? Lowest I saw was 19.6mpg climbing up the pass to truckee.
Interesting. Im probably doing the radiator when bulletproof diesel comes out with it. Also need to finish my water methanol kit.
If EOC comes out with a flash/handheld solution I would be more inclined to REPAIR THE GOVERNMENT MANDATED GARBAGE FOREVER.
They have the CP4.2 which its largest issue is with low sulfur diesel. If your worried about it put a couple capfuls of 2 stroke oil or use hot shots every tank full. Pretty much a non issue at that point.
the milestars are a crowned tire so the middle sticks up a bit but I measure almost 38" like 38" 7/8" with a ruler on it at 34psi. My KM2's were around 33.5" for a 35" :|
I got 38" milestars from my local americas tire that were in-stock after being unable to find anything in stock larger than a 37. I would prefer a KO2 in 39" but doubt it will measure the full 39" loaded.....Knowing bfg it will be a 37.5" tire :(
Anyone measure the 39" KM3?
Ram owners have attributed the dry start/air in the lines to the cp4 failing. Not sure if the 4.2 is any more resistant to this but this is why FASS makes so much money selling air/water seperators.
