I thought I had high usage and figured I would from my driving. I am living where it is around 0 F most nights and I drive short trips. I ended up having some codes thrown for a Def heater and the def pump was replaced. I had topped my def tank off at a known mileage out of a pump and after...
I ended up having to take a couple trips to the dealer for this issue. The first time they said they could not pull anything up to diagnose, but given I had which codes were thrown they put it as a diagnostic in process with suspicion that it was one of the two DEF heaters on the system. I...
I have had my gladiator to the dealer a couple of times. Their assumption is that it is the DEF line heater. There are two DEF heaters, one on the tank and one in the line to the engine. Currently they put a “diagnostic in process” tag on my Jeep. The fourth time I threw this code It was about...
I ended up clearing the codes because the dealer couldn't get me into service for a few weeks and I needed the vehicle for work and it was running very bad. I believe there was a misunderstanding because at first they said they couldn't do anything unless there was an active code so I had to...
I am only new to leaving the DEF system in tact. I run the tank preheater at night and use the block heater to help keep everything from freezing. I am just a bit disappointed at 1600 miles getting a Def system must be serviced at dealer code. I chose to take the risk on an early Gladiator...
Got another code today P208B saying def system requires service and to take it to a dealer. Started running really rough so I called and take it to them in a week. 1643 miles. F-ing DEF
I checked these. Fuses were fine, relays were only partially seated. I reset the OBD code and will see if it occurs again. This particular code gets set in the permanent codes. Any idea if I need to notify Jeep or the dealer in case of further problems?
Received my first troublecode today P20C6. The vehicle had been running all morning and I was just pulling off the freeway after about a 150 mile trip. This code refers to the DEF heating circuit. Thought I would at least share. I will call and schedule an appt with the dealer tomorrow.

I bought this because it would match the sunrider twill top. I do like it but I have to say my wifes JT has a gator covers trifold on it and it seals much better. I get moisture and dust in my bed. When I check hers, her bed has stayed dry. I cant speak for how long the material will last...
Just thought I would show that I was able to find a pid loop that shows time and distance between regens I am averaging 216 miles and 615 minutes I have been doing quite a few short drives it’s at the bottom of this picture
2 inches will only marginally increase your break over angle. If it’s enough for your needs than do it. The addition of larger tires increases the axle clearance and improves the ability for the tires to climb over large objects like a curb or a Corolla. The combination of a lift and tires...
1-1/2 inches spacer lift with bumper and winch. I bought the tereflex spacer lift because it has a specific 1" spacer and another 1/2" spacer so you can adjust how you want it to sit. More weight in the bed like a bed rack or tools and you use less in the front. If you tow a trailer more...
The veepeek with the blutooth 4.0 LE. I think I paid $11 for the app. It can be tedious to make a gauge cluster that looks half decent. Luckily I found a nice person that had shared a file on the ram 1500 forums and it gave me a good jump start. I am struggling to get the export to upload to...
I ordered with the factory MT tires. I know that the pumps started with the "winterized blend" of diesel in Oct but I am averaging about 19-20. I tried a couple of ounces of Hot Shots diesel treatment in my last couple of tanks and I seem to get another mile or 2 on average. I have been...
I am no expert on this but I do have a very short commute to work each day. The diesel warms up very quickly once you start driving. Letting it idle from remote start does not seem to raise the water temperature much. I did a lot of reading on the ram ecodiesel forums and from that I plan to...
