Yes, fits above the winch hole, lays down in a hanging fashion, flips up for winch access.

There's a PDF with a similar enough installation to make it work for you.
We wheel with a fellow in a 2019 TRD Off Road (not Pro). He spent a fortune on a lift to clear 35's and that only worked after he cut/bashed/mashed space for the same tires (315/70R17 KO2's) my JTR rolls on (stock).
Tires are the most important upgrade you can do for wheeling, and he knows it...
It's dimensionally big, for sure, really big - but it weighs over 9,000 lbs!!
The original H2 had a 125" wheelbase and is 190" long, that was actually decent for the overall length and breakover. The 3/4 ton axles made for a width that was problematic on MANY trails, the cuts in downed trees...
Subaru isn't a major brand, I realize, but my sister ordered exactly what she wanted my brother in law to drive, a white WRX! Hahahahah! Took 8 weeks to build and ship over from Japan.
The size of the Rivian is EXCELLENT, it is VERY similar in width to the JT and that speaks well to the engineers. Parked next to one at the club a few weeks ago, my wife liked it a LOT!
OTOH, the new Hummer is a trainwreck, saw one in SD this weekend and it's a joke to consider taking offroad...
The Raptor would get left behind on any number of gatekeepers, it is hilariously wide. 2" of ground clearance is useless when the vehicles is too wide by 24" to even get to the trail.
The F150 Raptor is too wide for West Coast trails, too - really hoping the Ranger Raptor is as good as it should be, my old Ranger flew pretty good. I wish the real compact pickups would come back, even the Maverick is oversized.
I got the OEM winch plate from @AllMoparParts.com and the Maximus 3 winch mout ONLY, only because I ordered the plate first. I would have been fine using their kit: https://maximus-3.com/home/jl-winch-mount-kit
I don't see the winch mount only, which makes sense, as the kit would have saved...
Wait, the oil/transmission plate? I don't recollect having any trouble at all with that, I was pleased how easy it was. Stacking the little plates for the transfer case was fussy, though.
I've cleaned my Asfir with snow, trying to get over a berm of snow/rock/mud the plows left at the end of a dirt road that leads to Highway 180. My wife got REAL tired of trying different lines, so I turned around, but the Al held up just fine. Super pleased with the weight/protection ratio.
I call them mystery hurts when I can't remember why I have blood leaking out of me. Trucks, computers, doesn't matter what I'm doing, I'll have some when I'm done.
At least in the kitchen incidents, I know IMMEDIATELY when it happens and when I need stitches!
Uhh, what? We've run all over the Southwest in the past two years, I drive too slow for my wife so she handles the real long range duties. 80-85 MPH is the normal highway speed out here, and the JTR has no problem hanging.
Phoenix is a nine hour drive and we've done it a couple times, San Diego...
Yes, drastically so. 4,500 lb vs 7,000 lb in the JT Rubicon, specifically.
It also makes a bigger difference going up in tire size with a manual vs the 8 spd auto. 35's are no problem with the 8-spd, you'd want to think about re-gearing the axles with the 6 spd manual.
If your wife likes...
It WAS sourced from Corning, there are Gorilla Glass TM's on the silkscreen and a BIG Gorilla head where the Willys MB should be. Looking at their site today, it no longer carries that badging.

I can't imagine the demand for 4.30's is that high; it's not a step enough up from 4.10's, and 4.56's would be so similar in stepping up from 3.73's that the hole makes sense.
I've only done a couple of Ford rear ends, is the money for a crush sleeve eliminator kit really worth it?
