I hear ya. If I was looking for a maximum amount flex then I could see it. But not this project. I'm looking for more stability and control. I'm looking for another TB.
Teraflex responded. Says ":that movement is how their engineers designed it. To give the bar and bushing maximum amount of movement so it does't bind and stop flex".
Thank you for this. It's perfect. It's heavy, thick, durable and easy to trim. I liked it so much I did this to my side by side. I really dont think I could buy an aftermarket mat that would work better.
I was afraid so. I can feel that slop in the steering.
With that much play between the axil and frame I can feel it in the steering. I've experienced this before in other rigs. Not something I want or will tolerate. Got a message out to Teraflex not sure what that will accomplish. I'll pull it...
Thanks to KurtP I installed the rock jock spacer for a 2' lift. Could be my imagination but my ride felt smoother. just looking at it I can see that my drive shaft is much happier for it.
Teraflex adjustable trackbar question. I was just under my Mojave and noticed that when I grab a hold of the bar, it rocks back and forth clanking in the mounts. Bolts are torqued. Is this slop normal? The play seems between the bolt and the sleve/bushing thingy.
A camper is more hassle than what its worth to me. I feel limited to what and where I want to go. With a camper or any trailer I end up avoiding paths that I would otherwise explore.
I actually clicked on this thread because I thought we were going to rag on "campers", as in people who are...
Oh yes they would. They are into that lumber jack look. Beards, flannel shirts and cant operate a chain saw. They love the jeep. It completes the look they are going for.
You own a mojave. I understand where you are coming from. I'm finding that not all things that are JT are Mojave. I;m finding more and more things that supposedly fit all gladiators don't fit the Mojave. Shock extensions, seat covers etc. Not everyone knows that yet so I would look for advice...
I purchased the rock jock it's here in front of me. Before I install it, is there any down sides? As in I wont be over correcting or causing issues elsewhere? The spacer looks like 3/4 inch. The Mojave has a 2 inch spacer lift. Lifted many short wheelbase vehicles this is a first for me having...
Kind of new here so forgive me if this subject has been beaten to death already. I'm not finding it anywhere. I can lock the rear in 4H but how can I lock the rear in 2H?
LOL yea I know. You ruined it for me. I want to hate the new Bronco. Ive been a die hard Bronco fan forever. I just sold my 69 after 25+ years. I always planned on buying the new one to go with the old one. But instead I bought a Mojave. I want to feel good about that and you presenting reality...
I just seen my first Bronco sport and wow! Jeep better up their game because it looks like Ford is trying to compete with the Jeep LIBERTY! lol. Ive owned a 69 Bronco for 25+ years and have to say in no way am I impressed.
