It was beautiful yesterday and my son was in pure joy driving his gladiator - and it got me thinking about how much I enjoy driving my gladiator. Just get in and drive and my head clears and the space for joy in my heart opens up. I hope your gladiator helps bring you joy.
My 2 cents - Before I went to Metalcloak on mine I ran a spacer lift and it was perfectly good for daily driver - I even did some moderate rock crawling and it performed fine. Only reason I changed it up was because I always planned to make more extensive modifications in the future but didn’t...
Throw one on the front…move that steering wheel around and see what you’re working with. Manager wouldn’t do that? Seems like they’d do that first and then show you and ask ya what ya want to do from there.
anyways…I’ve seen several posts in the forum saying folks have done it and been...
I’m pulling a 3,200 lb Coleman Lantern with my 2022 Rubicon. 3.5 inch metal cloak lift with 37 inch Nitto recon grapplers.
Truck was having hard time getting beyond 5th gear and hovered around 3500 rpm at 55 to 65 mph. I could manually shift to 8th and it’d run 2200 rpm…it’d run well. But I...
35x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Legends MTZ to 37x12.5x18 Nitto Recon Grappler. 3.5 inch Metalcloak lift.
Had no issue with 4.10’s. Recently went to 4.88’s because of towing a travel trailer - definitely notice improved performance towing. Noticed improved performance when not towing (it is...
@nanook12 don’t let all the d-bags bother you that need to poke fun at you in order to feel better about themselves. Hopefully none of them raised children and didn’t teach them to behave that way towards people. I appreciated your inquiry and the real responses that have tried to offer help.
Giving a link to a previous post with some more details about my setup... 3.5 inch Metalcloak dual rate with 35 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZs. There is plenty room to run larger tires. I may in the future. It's dialed in perfectly and runs beautifully on 35s. Added weight when I'm...

This is so wonderful. Ain't nothing you'll do in the NAVY more heroic than what you're doing everyday as a Husband and Father. I appreciate your service, Sailor. America is amazing - we're all more alike than different aren't we. We have Daddy/Son at our house. He was 2 when he got his...
not sure about the Line X, but on the Gator EFX the top of it goes about half way over the top of the tailgate when closed, and it has about a half inch drop that the tailgate closes tight against. The top is darn tight as well. A hanger could work if you had four 90 degree angles at exactly...
I also have the Gator EFX hard trifold for a couple years now and still looks brand new. I love it. Low profile. Tight as can be, no water or anything getting in it. Rides nice closed or open, no noise or rattling. Can take like 350 lbs on top. When the bed is closed it is locked tight...
The 3.5 will let you run 40’s if ya wanted. If you are never going over 37’s you’ll be fine with the 2.5 and you’ll probably have all you need when you wheel it.
