Nice! Congratulations. I didn't want to go through all the trouble to install a brake controller in my JTR so I went with the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller - 7-Way Plug-in w/ Bluetooth App. It's awesome. I recommend that.
Congratulations and welcome to the forum!
If you let folks know the kind of ride youāre looking for, more interested in on-road vs off-road performance, type of wheeling you may do, and whether you plan to lift it any taller and how tall - youāll find really good recommendations from folks here...
Awesome! Thanks for sharing that video. Took me down memory lane. Big Bend was the place my Dad wanted to go explore - his last bucket list item. The AK rounds and RPG shrapnel couldnāt kill him but the agent orange finally did. Anyways - your video was a gift - thank you!
JT is looking really good - thoughtful and tasteful. Love that you involve the kiddos in some wrench time. Great write up sharing the adventure thus farā¦. Keep enjoying the journey. šš»

Congrats.
I had no rub on my Rubicon with no lift running Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ in 35x12.5x17 on the stock wheel. Go up to 37ās and I had some rubbing.
Iām pretty sure youād be fine with Method 703ās in a 35 inch with no lift.
I love my Rubicon but Iām on rocks and crawling more than anything. For what youāve got going on there Iād seriously consider paying for the Mojave and get a color you can live with. If you are not going larger than 35ās you may not want to lift a Mojave 2 or 3 inches - a Mojave will look...
Either way - go for it! When I decided to start getting under the jeep my 3 yr old (5 now) had to join me. There I was worried I wouldn't just screw the jeep up but I'd teach him wrong. Then I accepted that what should take me 2 hours will take me 12 hours with him helping, but it was worth...
Best part is the tradition - the appreciation for natural spaces and wildlife conservation being passed down from generation to generation is why we have the places we have in The United States and the opportunities to enjoy them.
Big shout out to Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation...
