  1. Big decisions to make

I always thought that buying a year or two before I need is just spending the $5,000 to $10,000 anyways by effectively moving up my schedule. Like instead of buying 10 vehicles in my lifetime I maybe end up buying 15.
  2. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

Here is a pic of my 2022 Rubicon with 3.5 inch dual rate springs from Metalcloak. The travel trailer in pic is around 3200 lbs and I have another 400 lbs of stuff on the bed in that pic. Rides good. Didn’t squat it bad.
  3. Flat fenders?? with 35s or 37s?

If you have big plans for the future I recommend going with 37’s and 3.5 lift now. It will look great. Not sure what gears you have stock in that nighthawk but I ran 4.10 stock with no issues on 37’s with metalcloak 3.5 lift. I did regear later because of towing a travel trailer but that’s...
  4. New 2025 Rubicon Gladiator.....what lift?

I’ve been very happy with Metalcloak products and customer service. 35x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Legends MTZ with no lift. With 2.5 inch lift. And here is 3.5 inch. MetalCloak has a leveling kit for JT that will work great with 35’s - around $1,000 for that. You can choose option...

  6. Homelink Issue with 2 trucks.

This is what I’d suggest as well. Had issue with my Gladiator, Trail Boss, and Ascent. I’m sure previous home owner had vehicles programmed. So I cleared the unit and then programmed each vehicle without issue.
  7. Great tire that no one talks about!! Mickey Thompson MTZ

Agree 100% - I ran a set of 35x12.5x17 Baja Legends MTZ’s and overall performance and wear - they were great. Maybe my favorite tire I’ve ran so far.
  8. Looking at this Gladiator, need help deciding!

That dealer specializes in high end luxury vehicles. Clientele has the resources to hammer them if they act shady. Clients have solid feedback. Dealer should be no issue. Check it like any used vehicle you’d consider buying. You won’t use half the stuff on it. Purely for show. You’ll turn...
  9. Load range C vs load range E

I currently run 37's, Ridge Grapplers in an E and they've been great on and offroad. They don't seem to be as noisy as the Falken MT's in 33 were, or the 35 MT Baja Legends I ran. Been happy so far.
  10. Gladiator vs. Colorado ZR2 Bison

I’m glad you recognized I was just kidding. seriously though - my father-in-law has a white Bison and it is sweet. Ya’ll are gonna have a blast with it.
  11. My Fathom Blue Gladiator finally got delivered!!

Looks great! In 2001 I bought my first new vehicle - a Dodge Ram that was what they called Patriot Blue. It was identical to this Fathom Blue.
  12. Gladiator vs. Colorado ZR2 Bison

You’ve missed the two most important points of consideration in this one vs other… 1) will the Bison get as many waves 2) will the Bison get as many ducks
  13. Local preferred shops

As far as dealerships go for service I have always had a good experience at Jim Glover in Owasso. Both for warranty service work, out of warranty service work, and for their Glover Customs shop. Matt in service and Mike in Glover Customs - always solid for me. toys for trucks by Union High...
  14. Hope you enjoy your gladiator this much

Is that a hard hat in the back - love it!
  15. Hope you enjoy your gladiator this much

If the magic of the Jeep experience could only bring back my hair! Looks like a great time!
  16. Hope you enjoy your gladiator this much

That is awesome. I’d really like a blue corvette to go along with my blue gladiator. With the Jeep i take calculated risks…with fast cars I just take risk and it usually ends badly. May that kiddo love the ride in the Jeep for as long as you’re able to take him - good job!
  17. Hope you enjoy your gladiator this much

Ear to ear! My wife has had a Forster and then an Ascent and now an Odyssey. If I’m lucky I can get steer her away from Subaru and Honda toward a complimentary Jeep next. Highly unlikely but at least my son is onboard with it. šŸ™šŸ»
  18. Hope you enjoy your gladiator this much
