Tire clearance will not be an issue. I just want to make sure I don’t bottom out the shock at when the suspension is fully compressed. I’m wanting a bump stop length that would give me between 1/2” and 1” of shack travel remaining at that point.
I’m ordering the Clayton 2 1/2” Overland Plus lift with Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks for my JT Rubicon Diesel. I currently have 35” tires. The kit comes with 3” bump stops front and rear which seems to tall for a 2.5” lift. For those with this lift on your JT, what length bump stop are you using and...
That issue is covered under service bulletin 02-003-22 so it should be taken care of by the dealer. All 4 shocks and the front jounces will be replaced.
I’ve searched and have had no luck finding the post I’m looking for which is a post on how to rotate the Rubicon front swaybar disconnect mechanism so that you gain ground clearance. Thanks to everyone in advance. I promise I have searched with zero success.
To maybe find where the noise is coming from you could try using something like WD40 and spraying where you think the source of the noise is coming from. Only do one location at a time, starting with what you think is the most likely source and checking to see if it eliminates the noise. If it...
I’ve got a 22 Rubicon with 18,000 miles and noticed last week that mine looks the same way. Even shows a little seepage around the fill plug. Thing is, my differential has never had any work performed on it and no lift so I too was wondering if this was normal. Guess I should take it to the dealer?

This came from the article by Diesel Power Product (link below). Thought this may be good information to show the dealership if they resist looking into the issue.

While driving the dash will light up like a...
My Gladiator is still at the dealership so I can’t get any pictures. To find it, I located the connector behind the passenger side fender liner that Dynamic Overland posted a picture of. That gave me an idea of where the wiring harness was routed. From there I looked from under the Jeep between...
That is definitely a possibility.
I spoke with the service writer yesterday to find out when the repair would be completed. I asked again as to when the thread damage occurred and he again told me during removal.
The story I got from the service writer was it happened when it was removed. Don’t know if some type of reaction between the materials could have occurred and created a bond resulting in the damage??? The Gladiator is barely 2 years old with 18,000 miles.
This is what happened at the dealership when they removed one of the fittings. Glad I decided to let the dealership repair the harness issue under warranty. Just wanted to make others aware of what could happen removing a fitting from the DPF.
