Hey, I’ve been looking for similar kits. Your set-up looks great. Couple questions, did you use shock extensions, or longer shocks? And where did you find the mopar control arms? I’ve done a couple searches, no luck. Thanks

Cool! By the looks of things it more or less falls into place. Maybe just loosen it see if that helps.
  6. Lift Help: Rear Axle...

Hi, havent done it yet , but... done lots of research for what I’m putting in mine. What I’ve seen is the rear track bar needs to be unbolted at the axle. Then re-tighten with the truck on the back on the ground. Thereā€˜s a lot of stuff on YouTube (too much) Im still looking, can I ask how you...

  11. Windshield Defroster fix mod from JL forum

I’m completely with you! I didn’t know it was a thing till I was reading this, but I was thinking a couple of storms ago, that the defroster sucks! I have to be out in some pretty crappy weather , and it’s down right dangerous. Apparently I’m not he only one. Honestly it’s the only gripe of...
  12. Gladiator in snow - disappointment?

Well I'll jump in... I've got'a say, the JT has been the best snow preforming vehicle I've driven. I've only driven 4WD vehicles over the last 40 yrs. Now I'm not sure if it the wheelbase, or the tires ( Falken MT's ) , or both! In the past MT tires haven't been my 1st choice for daily...
  13. This is why I avoid the dealership...

I'm sure this has been talked about, but whats the feeling for getting warranty work after a mod like mild lift and tires? Of course I know I'd be on the hook for driveline issues. I've read through many posts, but really don't have a clear understanding. Thanks!
  14. Bed Bolt Hole Size

I’m getting into this late in the game. But I just heated the bolt hole a bit, then cleaned out the first couple threads with small screwdriver, just to start the bolt (m6), then heated the bolt a little, and just finished seating the bolt. Very quick.
  15. Long road trip when you buy your gladiator from dealership

Sound like a great idea! I made a 450 mi (900 RT) to get my JT last fall. Of course traveling in a pandemic is tricky, plenty safe if you’re thoughtful. I packed as much food as I could in a cooler, made sure the hotel had a microwave, and made few stops along the way. Turned out to be a fun...
  16. Missing interior Aux switch wiring (solved)

I've got an Aux switch question I can't find answer for. I want to wire in some response lights (paramedic), on the grill and the dash. So my question, can I wire both lights to the same circuit by tapping the same switch wire both inside and out? Thanks!
  17. thrumming vibration

Just noticed this tread. I think I’m having the same issue, thought it was just me! Im getting what I would call a ā€œ rhythmicā€ high frequency vibration, about once a second, most notable at around 60+ Very weird, not a regular wheel balance thing, feel it a bit in the steering wheel, and in the...
