So, after 7 months I decided to remove my daystar lift and install the mopar lift. The rust was bad but the clunking sounds coming from my suspension was getting concerning. I’m not sure if it was poor installation or poor quality lift....maybe both?? Take a look at the damage to the sway bar links. Anyone know what might cause this?

not torqued to spec?
Not tightened while the suspension was on the ground?
Lots of off-roading?

WOW ! That’s terrible. I was looking at that kit... off the list now!
I heard from someone else who said the sway bar bushings could not be torqued to spec because of poor quality.
Thanks for taking the time to post.
This forum is awesome!!

You get what you pay for. Cheap, overpriced 2" lift. Can always see if they will honor their "lifetime warranty".

Wow that's crazy. Had my Readylift sat 2.5" spacer lift installed for 14 months almost and it isn't making any noise and the sway bar links still look great. I still ha e my stock control arms but I just installed geo brackets and they are not rusted either, that's crazy how yours look, I'd almost want to say they over torqued your sway bar links.

I just installed this lift on my wife's JLU this weekend. The instructions specified the torque setting on the sway bar links and it is WAY to high for the sleeves. I crushed one and thought my torque wrench was messed up. Even if you don't crush the sleeves, the daystar extended sway bar links look pretty cheap, so I'm opting to replace with Mopar links. I have a feeling I'll end up upgrading this lift with enough Mopar parts I should have just paid for the Mopar lift to start with. Overall, pretty unimpressed, finish on the LCA's was pretty terrible, so I'll have to paint them before too long.
