The Apple branded cord is the only one of many that consistently and flawlessly function In my truck. I do not believe it is a physical issue but rather the internal chips in the plugs that make the difference. I went batty using new aftermarket cords that worked fine for charging but wouldn’t...
Understand I’m not AT ALL knocking the idea I just can live without it if it simplifies things. Especially for your sanity. The project is phenomenal if I haven’t said that enough already.
I would rather do without the board altogether. It’s a neato thing but not really something I would see using. Ever.
I’d prefer the simplicity and reliability of a no board setup if that is going to make things overly complicated.
If that bothers you, which I understand, do NOT go see the Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, or Bentley dealers. Talk about option add ons
First, if true then Bosch’s engineers need to return to grade school since they failed to learn even rudimentary concepts of science, like testing theorems.
Second, I think this is the worst PR spin that Bosch could possibly engage in since, if true, they are more stupid than one could...
This is precisely why this isn’t getting solved in a timely manner. Bosch and / or their insurance carriers should be scared to death since this pump has failed across the board in multiple manufacturers and platforms.
Bosch is the one on the hook for these expenses at the end of the day. I’ll bet my annual income their contract requires indemnification for their defective parts and the consequential damages Stellantis incurs from them.
