So it has happened twice in two days that I was driving and the steering felt heavy. After a little more driving I figured the power steering stopped working. I pulled over and as soon as it jarred off the road it was normal. Basically the same story for both times. Anyone have this happen or...

Could you just use strut channel? You can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot and there are a lot of attachments for it.

Get some painters tape and black spray paint. Tape off about ⅓ of the light (⅔ will be painted). A couple dollars for the fix. Plenty if light still to not get in trouble and much less glare.

Do those work with the sunrider?

No issues with the hood leaning back. Over the attachment bolt is about 6 inches. There is quite a bit more over the hole for the light to go into as it is offset. I have a tennis ball between the hood and window as reference for how far back it is.

I'm at 32k now with the aluminum and it seems to be slowly getting more play in it. I'm having it switched out this weekend so hopefully it fixes that or at least doesn't make it worse. Otherwise no real issues but seems "looser" than it should be. All stock steering and suspension besides 1.5"...

I'm not sure if this is the same as what he did but I moved my wiring for the winch as well.

I did the rubi take off and added 1.5" in the front and ¾ in the rear. I have a stubby metal front bumper and 12k harbor freight winch too. There is still a small amount of rake but not quite factory. I think it is good if you tow mid range weight or use the bed for payload. I'm happy with this...

A Kylon Fusion spray paint from Lowes. It hold up pretty well and is an easy touch-up if need be.

It isn't quite the Mojave orange (it matches all my orange) but an idea for you. I got these off eBay and the part that is orange was silver. It is attached with rivets that I took out and then painted and re-installed.

What gauge and dimensions are you using? I am thinking of doing something similar but haven't pulled the trigger to buy any steel yet.

There is a Yakima SkyRise Medium rooftop tent nearby me for sale. It is used and I have not looked too much into them. It is for $1200. All seems good with it from the ad but does anyone have first hand experience with this tent? Good, bad, not worth it?

Also, another reason for 17s is tire choice. There are significantly more options for a 17" tire and the prices are more reasonable...typically.

I bought the factory mojave items so it is the same look as the original.
