I need some DIY help! (RTT content)

So I bought the iKamper x-cover 2.0 mini and the mounting channels are too short for Yakima bed rack when I have the side rails mounted. So I had to remove the side rails and push the crossbars closer together to mount the RTT. I’ve reached out to iKamper to see if I could get longer mounting channels but no response.

So I may have to go the DIY route. Pictured are the existing mounting channels. Note: they’re beefy and not your traditional T-Channel.
Does anyone have any recommendations on some beefy t-channel rails? I’m thinking 48’ long would suffice.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I would think you could buy extruded aluminum online at needed lenght. Something like this:

Could you just use strut channel? You can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot and there are a lot of attachments for it.
