Just a heads up since I just went through this when I did mine, getting the socket out of the bezel is a real PIA without destroying it (at least it was for me). I found searching on here that there's a tool to make it a looooot easier...
Haha, those are the Mopar ones. "Mopar doors off mirror kit". They've been solid, albeit a little expensive. I ordered mine with my Gladiator, which saved $100 over buying them after the fact
That's what happens when you rate a car based on static performance metrics and not doing any qualitative/objective research. Personally, I bought my Gladiator specifically FOR the wind noise. Gladiator is literally the only midsize truck i'd buy because it makes up for all the compromises of a...
Finally got my onboard air setup installed. I went with a behind-the-seat mount from 813 Fabrication and an ARB single. Powering from the 12v/40a circuit behind the glove box area and using one of the 15a AUX switches to turn it on and off. All in all quick and easy to install and turned out...
Looks clean. I didnt mind giving up the 12v. I 've got on-board air, and with both type A and C USB ports, plus the inverter outlet in the cab I had no use for it anyway. I took the 12v connector off and since its a key on circuit thats already fused im going to use it to power my GMRS radio
Haha yeah the Hydro Blue looks great. Was nervous about it when I ordered. Almost went with Granite, but really glad I didnt once my Mojave was delivered
This past weeked we loaded up the JT with our gear, family, and ATV's and did a 400+ mile round trip from NoVA to Mountain Ridge ATV Park in PA. The trailer itself plus the 4 wheelers, our gear, bunch of gasoline, etc was probably around 4500 pounds give or take. Takeaways are this:
The cab...
Chemical Guys Butter Wax is awesome stuff. Hydro Blue pearl coat looks absolutely awesome after spending some time to wax it. Really glad I went with this color. Put a MyMedic MyFAK on the molle behind the driver's seat. Also got a hitch skidplate from DRT Fabrication. Truck is really starting...
Really looking forward to this, my wife just told me she's up for coming along too so I won't be solo. Anyone have/bringing GMRS radio? I have 4 handhelds (just good ol' Baofengs) people can use for the day. The person bringing up the rear can let the leader know if there's a problem, atv's are...
Had the windows tinted today, 20% on the fronts, and towed the trailer for the first time. Towed great, probably 3500 pounds between the trailer itself, the 4 wheeler, gas cans and other gear. Redarc brake controller did awesome. A++ would buy again haha. Has me wondering if I should go with...
Added my Rotopax to the bed tonight. Was going to get another molle panel but decided it wasn't necessary, just mounted the rotopax plates to the bed with a few rivnuts I had left over from the running boards I put on my wife's GCL
That's awesome. I have the same one coming but looking to do a mount behind the rear drivers side passenger seat, all my bed space is taken up with other stuff
Had to figure out how to get a license plate mounted to the Arcus since I live in VA. I Saw Rugged Ridge had one that snaps into a hawse fairlead and got excited. Read description, specifically mentions that it does NOT fit the Warn Hawse fairlead that comes with the VR Evo winches. Ordered it...
We picked up an Overland L back in Jan, 5k miles on it so far and its been an awesome daily for the wife and kid hauler. Unfortunately no off-road group, but its pretty well-optioned aside from that. Its a super comfortable ride, McIntosh stereo is absolutely awesome, massaging seats, etc Its a...
