Wow that looks awesome, I was researching that for sure. More i look at the Peters Mill more i think it'll be fine, I'll probably hit it in the fall sometime. Did you pay the full price on the limited edition?
MEK Magnet is one of my new sponsors this year, I've got a build thread on my profile if you want to see everything. But this specific kit was actually designed in part based on my graphics from last year, so I am happy to have received this set for free as part of that deal. We can of course chat about that more in private if you wish, or leave a comment in my build thread. Without saying much more derailing this thread, it's well worth it. I'm excited to show it to you guys soon.

Really looking forward to this, my wife just told me she's up for coming along too so I won't be solo. Anyone have/bringing GMRS radio? I have 4 handhelds (just good ol' Baofengs) people can use for the day. The person bringing up the rear can let the leader know if there's a problem, atv's are trying to get around the group, etc etc, and the leader can let the rest of the group know there's oncoming traffic, hazard, etc

Yea I'm getting pretty excited, less than a month out now! I have a couple of handhelds as well, nothing special. I gotta read some of the material to make sure I set them up properly this time. Haven't had the best time with that in the past, but too cheap to buy something else right now.

I think we have a few in the group who have been there before. Anyone want to volunteer to lead??

I can lead if need be, there's really no where to get turned around though. The only couple offshoots are clearly too thin/made for ATVs. I also have a mounted GMRS and a handheld to lend out.

I'm pretty familiar with Peters Mill, up there a lot since its so close to me. If GOCAMPN wants to lead, i'll happily bring up the rear

I wanted to know if you had room for one more in the group. I would be coming up from the Waynesboro Staunton area if anyone else was coming from that location.

Come along! I've added the tentative plan to the first post along with you as an attendee

I’ve got my better half coming too, and I’m looking forward to a great day on the trail and learning a lot from everyone’s rig. For me, GMRS is in the rig, and two handhelds are here to lend if anyone needs one.

For anyone staying over Saturday night, is the consensus to tent in the nearby free sites (if they’re available) or head to a paid campground or nearby hotel?

I’m not sure where I’ll be before I head down, but I’ll likely be passing through Long Island on the way. Let me know if anyone is dying for a good bagel ?.

Does anyone need any stock take-offs? Anyone accidentally dent their bumper and want a new one? I've got some stuff off my 2020 Max Tow. Free of course just let me know what you need and I'll bring it.

Already gave away the springs/shocks but,

Front and rear bumpers, passenger side cowl, I might have an antenna, spare tire parts ie: the little heat guard thing and the cable winch, air intake box. A few more things just ask!

Is anyone camping Friday night? Deciding if I'm driving down Friday or early Saturday morning.

I don't want to screw anything up and not be able to run the trail. Where's everyone getting their passes and when?
