Managed to tear this up, hit a tree branch i think while trying to get around trees and debris in Ga after the hurricane. Does the whole fender need to come off to replace, looks that way.
what is the added maintenance on the magnetic or E-lockers? increased fluid changes or something. when i put mine in i dont remember anything discussing extra maint??
ARB front and back, solid and heavy cast, good features, comparing inside conturing to stock, they are very close. Magnets, bottom drain, level indicator. Like em
i went to 4.10's when i added 35's. Brings the rpm range back to near stock w the taller tire, plenty of grunt, pulls the GeoPro 19' well, slightly higher rpm on highway, like maybe 200 or so. Wakes it up and runs better
For those that have the GDE programing, I need to know your thoughts on the transmission tuning. I like the way it runs stock now, so is it really better or what
5000 miles? that aint what im getting, especially if towing anything. I towed a 12' enclosed utility w medium load from Fla to Tn and it used nearly a tanks worth
I toggled that w a obd device and jscan. it works because i forgot to unlock and went to check oil level and was getting blasted for a min while fumbling for the key fob
Anyone have a pic of the diesel version aux batt arrangement? Before i start tearing things apart. With diesel exhaust arrangement, is there room to gut the aux and its mounting and fab up a larger holder and put in another full sized but deep cycle batt there
If you have lock out hubs as most tons have, then locking them will engage the axle-hub and result in spinning the gears and internals. You do not put it in 4wd or you will tear it up on dry pavement. Locked hubs will be ok, prob get weird tire wear and some noise. I certainly wouldnt run it at...
Should be fairly easy, off the stock cooler, thru the aux, back to the block. ive waited for a while now to see how the oil cooling would go before i start making my own. I would rather cool the oil than coolant. Hwy at 75, my coolant is 208 range and oil fluctuating to 226, thats w 65° outside...
Wow, im surprised someone smashed it, i was waiting to hear something in regard. You would be screwed on the trail, may have to look at an additional plate myself
DylanM for the win. It just screws out. Matter of fact, if youre not careful when draining, it will pop out and give you a fine damn mess. Ask how i know ?. Very poorly designed, i dont know why they couldnt have done better...
