^^^ looks good!
Just bought these today to close out the wiring behind the fogs. 15% off thru 9/2 and free shipping. I wasn’t pleased with the back of the fogs and wiring exposed.

There are 6 holes, 2 in the plastic nubs up front and 2 on each bumper end. If you specify with the seller to send a bumper w/o sensor holes I think they will, but I forgot to do that.
I didn’t. The lower Rubicon mounts bolt up and the front bolts to the bumper with these bolts I got from Amazon.

I also got these plugs to fill the sensor holes.

The stock plate will bolt up on the bottom bolts only, but it hits the bumper….and with only two bolts it probably wouldn’t hold up too long off road.
Yes, easy install and perfect figment. There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to do it. I did it by myself. Well my son kept me company. Can’t comment on the long term durability of the finish but looks good out of the box. I’ll use bed liner if it starts to decay is my plan. It’s easy to...
It's the bumper design, steel bumper lower edge goes back further than the plastic. You don't need to cut much to make plastic skid plate work but I didn't feel like doing it.
Yep. Here's the skid plate. I'd say OEM quality, it's a thick heavy piece. I bought some u-nuts and bolts from Amazon to mount it. There is a different frame mount too that you can get on ebay but I didn't bother with that, this one rests on the Rubicon front frame mounts and bolts right up...
I installed mine 3 weeks ago, got it for $300 shipped from eBay. Very happy with it at that price. Bull bar had a few scratches from shipping, I just touched up with some paint which is fine. At $300 I'd say you can't beat it, looks great on the Jeep vs the plastic factory bumper. It's heaver...
That Lowmax looks very nice and prices have come down. I have one from Amazon, paid about $379 in 2022 and they are down to $295 now. It sits above the bed which isn't as nice as the Lowmax. It doesn't leak (much, maybe a few drops in a car wash) and it's secure on the bed. Mine came with...
Installed an Ebay steel bumper and I'm quite pleased with it. Prices on these are way down, $300 shipped. I need plugs for the sensor holesin the bumper ends that are at an angle. I have 1 .25 plugs from Amazon that work fine in the holes that are flat, but two of the holes are bisected by an...
Here you go.

My Rubicon Jeep came equipped with halogen headlights and DRL/Turn signals. I have already installed LED factory look alike headlights and today I installed LED DRL/Turn signals.
Great mod. The smoked look is great when the lights are off, and they look great lit and during turns with the...
I'm sorry I don't have an answer for ya but I'd like to learn about it myself.
Thanks to you I learned about the orange parking pawl release, that could come in handy someday.
Cranbiz I'm sorry to mess up your thread, but did you have to buy a new skid plate when you put this bumper on? I have a Rubicon if that matters.
I'm also wondering, I used to ship wheel and tires with nothing more than heavy cardboard over the sides zip tied on and it wasn't that expensive...
