Very good price. Good luck with sale, would have grabbed this if it was 2 months ago. I love my soft top, easy to swap but more importantly, super easy to pop the top back on a daily basis…and I noticed no real difference in highway noise. YouTube has a video on how to install…easy. Jeep...
On the note of protectant, I learned an expensive lesson with convertible top protectant (303 and others) on my Corvette that I'll share.
Wait a day to let the top completely dry before you use such a product. Though my top seemed dry, it wasn't and my top developed mold under the protectant...
If my memory serves, you're going to have to either buy a wiring harness and remove the fender to install it, or wire them up yourself like you do the DV8, except you'll need the terminals and crimp tool to put a wire in the factory harness. And the factory ones have only white halos, the DV8...
Got them on Amazon I think like $800 but it was a year ago so prices likely changed. You have to wire in the halos yourself and the turn signal halo part.
Kevin I have DV8 headlights that look like stock and I have LED fogs that I will give you if you want.
The DV8 are a lot cheaper than stock, at least when I looked. You will need a resistor for any LED headlights I've come to learn.
Look here for links on the resistor...
I love this. I'm a big fan of pay it forward. I don't need them but I appreciate a forum like this with good folks on it!!
I have unused rock rails for my Rubicon (along the sides but not the part behind the rear wheel), and LED (nice and bright) fog lamps (I switched to yellow). Would you...
I third that comment! Maybe one of these days I'll fab up a locking tab like some others have done on here, but man if there was a way to lock it down attached to the seat back lockdown, that would be optimal. Maybe some smart aftermarket folks will come up with that!
Appreciate all the replies. I picked up a new twill top locally for a great price on Facebook Marketplace and installed it yesterday, so easy. Jeep did a nice job engineering that top I think. Took it to the car wash today which is a pretty high end one and turns out they have a...
Thanks!
This is what I was hoping by to hear. I wash about every other week or so. Where I live washing by hand in the winter is no bueno.
Now I have to locate a soft top. Can get from Jeep at a discounted price from a local dealer but I’d prefer the premium if I can get it. Shipping is...
Curious if anyone with a soft top uses a car wash that pulls the car through and uses brushes and high pressure rinse…any leaks or problems? Thanks in advance.
I understand. It comes in a big box from the factory, check out the first part of this video to see how the factory does it.
I would say, having shipped a lot of things over the years due to eBay sales, that I would box it differently than that and nest all the plastic parts inside the...
Some good advice here folks, thanks. The idea of reconfiguring the garage is a very good one.
My boy noted that my license place bracket is actually hitting the bar in the cabinet, so I took it out and mounted the plate to the bumper which gave me about an inch and about what I needed. I have...
Love my 2022 Rubicon but I’m cursed with a short garage due to my workbench. I have to put the plastic bumper nubs into my cabinet (with the doors removed) to get it to fit.
Is the steel factory bumper better tucked into the body or is there a good aftermarket choice that will give me maybe 2”...
Don't all the tailgates have the keyhole even if you have power locks? Mine does.
Perhaps the clip holding in the lock cylinder is different if you don't have power locks. I didn't get the TSB notice.
I wonder, the folks that got the notice, do you have power locks?
Great ending to this story! And yes that's one important bolt isn't it....wow.
Funny I was just talking to a colleague at work, I unloaded some problems on him yesterday and today the solution was much clearer..helped me organize my mind. Just like your posting did!
Nice color by the way!
