My local dealership also told me the pricing I got from TC was not "possible". They were wrong. Post after post on this forum show that MANY people have had exceptional experiences with Travis and TC. The bottom line between my price with TC and my local dealership was nearly TEN THOUSAND...
I would recommend checking with Travis at Tri-Cities in NC. I haven't seen anyone coming out with better deals/experiences than with him (in this part of the country).

I had D1 as of last night and just got update from dealer today that I am in "paint"!!!! So there is hope and Jeep Chat is obviously limited in their capabilities of being able to tell you what's going on! Hang in there.....there is apparently hope!
Were also doing an overloading build. We will be going with the Go Fast Camper (although the wait times are painfully long). We chose it for its simplicity and lightness. Its perfect for our needs and at a great price point. There are alot of nice options out there and certainly many more...
I think this is a better pic of the "W" road that I was looking for (although obviously very old). That other pic showed up several places saying it is the W road. I thought it looked like it had too many serpentines! lol.
This is Signal Mtn in TN. Yes, we have mountains. NO, they are not like yours. But they can be quite steep (just not for nearly as long)! They will still suck down your gas tank! ;)
There have been some discussions regarding insurance on the forum. Rates have been DRASTICALLY different between providers. Decent rates are out there but you will have to shop around. Several people moved from their original carriers b/c the rates were exorbitant.
