Makes sense. A lot of people talk about the 400lbs like its all in the motor when its not. Say even 300lbs of it was up front, that's what guys put up there with bumpers and gear.
Jeep chat just said they show my truck going into paint yesterday. Not sure if they work weekends or if maybe it was in paint Friday but anyone have a guesstimate on when I’ll see the truck if it’s in paint now? I didn’t get any accessories or bedliner.
Def has a date on the box or container. Might be old def. I typically try and get def from the pump and normally don't fill up so I don't risk it going bad.
I ordered a rubicon diesel and am paying about 6k off msrp. The problem with incentives is that you can't really bank on getting them if your ordering a truck as you received the incentive based on delivery. So right now even if they did offer the same discount on a rubicon, you would need to...
Do it. If you own a gladiator and a tundra then it would appear the small financial hit wont leave you in a position where you would greatly regret it. I ordered a diesel because I just don't think I could be happy with the mini van motor after test driving the diesel. Major difference. If you...
No company should be making springs to work with shocks, its the other way around. Same as people saying "diesel tuned" springs. Springs aren't tuned. They are made or designed to handle a certain load. As far as a spring is concerned the added 400lbs is actually very minimal. As far as the...
Seems there's a lot of issues with secondary batteries causing problems. Doubtful any diesel has been sitting for very long so it makes me think maybe the batteries were stored, shipped wrong or mishandled somehow.
If you put the main battery on a trickle charger/battery tender will it also...
If you read about the previous generation ecodiesels on the ram forums, its pretty common that these motors have a significant amount of blow by and a lot of people recommend a catch can on those trucks. I would assume the 3rd gen won't be significantly different. Might be worth looking into a...
for how much springs cost I would just buy a kit now and add a spacer. In a few months down the road swap just the front springs. Considering its only about 400lbs difference I bet the spring rate is only 50lbs difference. Youll notice a much larger difference with shocks than springs.
