Would be nice if they did a significantly longer loop. Over a tank full. There's far too many factors in just 66 miles. Head wind, if traffic pulls out how hard is the cruise getting back into the throttle etc. Either way, for most situations of towing for utility(a car trailer, dump runs etc)...
Just read through here. Some good points but seems like a lot of people expect everyone to purchase good for the same reason they do or have that magazines do. I'm buying the diesel cause its the lesser of two evils(theres no v8). The pentastar has about zero entertainment value and little to no...
Rubicon. Shocks are a disposable item and a locker and sway disconnect aren't. Throw some decent 35's and upgrade the shocks on the rubicon and it will be a significantly better rig for what you want... Except the hood. The mojave hood is pretty sweet looking imo.
You'll probably never need...
How many miles on your truck now? This is a perfect example of why not to use anything skyjacker. There's no reason you should have warn out joints and "out of round" tires already.
The added caster should help a lot, glad to see you got it to someone who has a decent idea of what they are...
Will be waiting a few weeks at least for my ecodiesel rubi and want to start getting parts coming in the mean time. Doing a metalcloak 3.5 and want some shocks with both compression and rebound adjustments. So far all I am seeing is compression adjustable shocks from king and fox or having to go...
Exactly why I didn't get the bedliner. Seems like that's pretty typical and depending on their workload wouldn't surprise me if its a significant delay.
Springs might not help as much as you hope. Constant vs dual or triple rate is something that's fairly overblown in the truck industry imo. Coming from sports cars, track cars I realized this when I got my HD ram with people arguing between carli and thuren. Now here with different companies...
The technical definition is “lively and spirited”. For me personally to be “peppy” it should at least be more “lively and spirited” than the average base model family car. Best I could claim is that it has enough power to be functional and pretty decent throttle response. Pretty sure it’s just...
Interested in this as well. Wondering if the factory bumps from a Mojave would get me by but not sure what those cost and if it’s close to an aftermarket bump how much better off I would be with other options.
Yeah. The pentastar is unacceptable imo. The 8spd is great and makes up for a lot of its lack of power but if I’m driving a mid size vehicle I either want some power or a lot better fuel mileage. I always wanted a willys pickup with a 4bt diesel so the gladiator with the ecodiesel is my modern...
Completely with you there. Without the diesel option I would never have purchased a gladiator. It’s a shame there’s not many motor options in these truck but given the space and epa restraints its understandable.
Not interested in the mopar lift as its mostly geared at just adding height.
So I am wondering who will have something available shortly?
Looking for something that will give me an actual lift in the 3” neighborhood and I can run some King shocks on. Originally I wanted to go 4 link but sounds...
No one is arguing that it’s not enough power to be functional. But I would t consider it “peppy” when it’s one of the slower modern vehicles on the road.
Ordered mine on wed. Order went in Friday morning and they generated a von and vin already but I can’t find it in the system. Dealer said they generated the vin faster than he’s seen before but not sure if that indicates anything or not.
