I don't know for sure but if they are any different I would be surprised cause so far the shocks on my diesel are extremely underwhelming and I would highly suggest anyone looking to upgrade a lower level trim skip them and go aftermarket.
The mini van motor gets that with 37's not towing and most full size trucks would get similar or worse when towing that boat. So it really only sucks cause your accustomed to getting such good fuel mileage unloaded, but in the grand scheme of things its not bad at all imo.
No, you like justifying your purchase.
37's, a rack, full gear, high elevation and the mini van motor doesn't cut it. $4000 for 182 ft lbs more torque that's covered under warranty is easy to justify. There's a reason plenty of people Upgrade to the diesel and no one downgrades. I'll gladly...
No regrets for me. The mini van motor was a deal killer for me. Once the diesel was available I was all in. Test drive them both and you’ll see even day to day it’s a lot more fun to drive. Then loaded up with gear it’s night and day.
The other aspect often over looked is at altitude and when loaded down. As youtuber the story till now. His gas truck gets left up grades by the two diesels he wheels with.
Just ordered new tires and wheels and would like to get new sensors so I can sell my factory wheels with them. I’m wondering what you guys are running?
I have a diesel rubicon and I think these stock shocks were designed perfectly......... For the starbucks drive through. Completely stock, it bottoms out on pot holes that none of my other stock trucks would bottom out on. It rides nice, but I bought a jeep, not a luxury vehicle.
He's not wrong and if you do your own maintenance then that's a great way to go. There's some down sides such as scratch resistance is better on a true coating as its harder but ultimately your not going to get a coating to last three years without a lot of work. If your maintaining your own...
I am at about 1000 miles so far. Filled up three times and hand calculated each time. The gauge in the truck seems to read high by between .8mpg and 1.3mpg. So I just take about 1mpg off what its actively telling me.
-These are approximates but seems just driving around town I’m right at about...
Just got through my first tank on my diesel and hand calculated at 24.7mpg. On board meter showed 25.1 so its off a bit but not horrible. That tank had a lot of freeway driving in it and so far on this tank I am sitting at 23mpg on the gauges and its been primarily around town driving. This is...
There will never be a scenario where I race my diesel truck against a mini van so I am not concerned about zero to sixty. I will however put larger tires on it, load it up with gear and pull massive grades at high elevations and I will enjoy having more torque than a moped. Additionally the only...
Whatever their light gray and dark gray suede colors are. And I don’t think they are breathable. Scroll through their options cause they might have something that is.
Ceramic coat the paint, keep a something on the black with a uv protectant, don't go through a machine wash, don't drive in salt, stay up on maintenance, park in a garage, don't do "jeep things".
