That is just beautiful. I change my oil so frequently that I just use whatever's on sale and meets specs. My RAM EcoDiesel (Deleted) the oil is insanely clean even after 7,500km. I'm about to start doing oil analysis on my Gladiator as well to start monitoring that after the EGR delete.
The fella clearly has a screw loose, so I would expect many more times lol. Unfortunately permanently banning someone is impossible. IP bans don't work seeing as most residential routers reset their lease weekly, or you can literally just unplug it and it'll reset it for most ISPs.
I feel bad...
Yeah, it's him. He tried to DM me asking what dealership I go to and if they warranty me, etc. I gave him some random dealership name from Google. The fella clearly needs to get a hobby.
Not sure what his train of thought is... though he's clearly mentally inept. I sincerely hope he calls the...
One thing to note about Bilsteins.... Solid shocks, but their housing looks absolutely terrible after a couple winters in Canada. I can only assume y'all use the same stuff on the road in upstate NY as we do in Canada.
I had 5100s on my JKU for 2 winters before they looked absolutely terrible.
I'm running 37 AT4Ws on a Rubicon with just a 1.5" leveling kit, no rubbing. You're not wheeling with this setup, but it'll work until you can get a proper lift on.
I send my Jeep into things I probably shouldn't, knowing damn well my warranty will not cover me if I break something because of my silly adventures. Best bet is to just play dumb, sometimes it works... sometimes they find mud in places where it's difficult to get mud and deny your claim.
It's...
Installed this on my JKU after going through two OEM oil coolers in a year, the cold Canadian winters/hot summers made two of them crack within a year. No more issues for years after that until I traded it in.
Good choice!
Appreciate you keeping us updated honestly.
It's just good ammo/information for anyone else that has an issue. I'm a sucker for punishment (Lifetime Jeep owner and Toronto Maple Leafs Fan). Whenever the 3.0 goes out on my JT Gladiator, if it's out of warranty I'll be doing a Cummins RB 2.8 or...
This. Make them inform you, in writing, why against their own legally binding warranty they will not be covering the turbocharger that is listed as covered in their powertrain warranty.
The only thing I can think of is they're trying to spin it off as emissions because the actuator is what...
Spoke to my service manager this morning for an unrelated issue and asked about the turbo warranty, they stated it's 100% covered under the powertrain warranty. It's not considered an emissions component.
100% agree with Biodiesel, find another dealership. This one likely just does not want to...
Another minor mod to the Jeep... installed the Bulletpoint mounting system for my phone/action camera and will eventually add a tablet mount. So far I'm impressed with the quality of the mount and the functionality.
I have a few smaller but pretty important mods happening over the next month...
I swear by Docs, use them both my diesels now. I use their 5w40 (It's just rebranded Hotshot 5w40) as well for my deleted RAM EcoDiesel, will likely swap to it for my Gladiator once I delete it as well.
That is one sexy looking axle, gawd damn. I'm going with an long distance overland build so keeping the weight down and will be sticking to 37s or under, otherwise I'd go this route too. Those are beautiful my lord.
I figured the D44s on my Rubicon will handle 35s/37s just fine long term...
I definitely would recommend doing your research and going to a reputable shop that deals with lifted Jeeps if paying someone to install. Your average mechanic will have little experience with the little tips and tricks that can make a huge difference between your lifted Jeep driving like a...
I've only experienced death wobble once... and it was when I was first getting into Jeeps and didn't know better, I put a shitty budget lift on a JKU. That thing had some serious scares.
An alignment does not guarantee you will fix a death wobble, in most cases it's not even related. I think...
