No worries mate, cheers
Yes the length, of the bolt. But I wouldn’t worry about it too much if it’s long enough that all the threads on the oil pan are engaged and not too long that it collide with something in it. Now, for the Fumoto it’s a bit more important since one would leave it in...
Ok, I think I understand where the confusion comes from:
Your dealer has mixed up the length of the bolt and its diameter. M4, M10, and M18 are all different gauges, like a #10 and a #4 SAE screw. In other words, it is a measure of the diameter of the thread. A full screw specification would...
I'm sorry. I thought you figured it out afterward. It's on the picture itself (2022 Wrangler Diesel), under my profile on the side, and this is in the Diesel section of the forum ;).
So, yes, I installed it on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel (February build). I can check my OEM drain plug...
Oh, I hear you :)
That's why I took the angled one, and it looks sideways so it doesn't hang lower than the pan.
Like I said, I'm often on the rocks. That picture was taken before installing it. If a rock hits the oil pan at the right angle, it can pierce or slice it open, so I'm not too...
My reading of the situation:
Z58 predate Z96.
Z58 was a voluntarily based recall.
Z96 is not. If you've done Z96, you can ignore Z58.

Well, here are the wiring diagrams. The second part of my contribution is based on the link provided by the OP. Although this zip file is unavailable on their website, I had to compile it manually from each link in the above post's link. This was a bit funky because the website really did not...
It would be nice if they had a zip file for the wiring diagram too:

Oh well, I might tackle this tonight...
I have programmed something to unlock all PDFs.
Below, I am providing a new download link, which I believe should be added to Google Drive instead of the original one. It is more convenient to be able to annotate PDFs on the computer or simply print whichever section is needed for a job (which...
Does anyone here still have a copy of this or a more recent snapshot? Especially looking for the frame components, etc.
I know someone is making those or has access to a previous snapshot but wants to stay anonymous, probably because they're selling (verified) it, and they should not since it...
Interested in your findings and long term review. Mainly:
- cost of the filter vs OEM to keep better filtration
- reliability connections after fair amount offroad / vibrations etc. I heard catastrophic failures due to fittings or hose getting loose and engine seizing after the oil dumped on the...
Dude, honestly, I think for the price, it's a solid choice. I'm on Alu-Cab because it is slightly lighter and fits my idea build idea better, but I can't help but think if most things were already installed in it and I didn't have to build everything myself, I would go out a bit more. So, not a...
Came here to say this, this is the best advice. Don't unplug the battery or reset anything. In CA you can have 2 sensors not ready if I recall correctly. You can ask a 60 day operation permit in CA at the DMV to give you some more time for the sensors to be ready.
Worth a read, with an open mind especially if one already have it installed because one bought in the sale speech.

TLDR: Ravelco is mostly snake oil in 2024 and source of electrical issues depending on one’s luck with the installer. The article from the researchers goes...
Problem to me is that everyone will swear by the tune they got without knowing what they got or changed in it. This is because tuners are selling cookie cutter tunes instead of a tune that fits one need. So if they let out what’s being changed everyone can copy it and they’re out of business...
Same situation as you. I usually go to 76 and mixed LX4 and EDT 1:1 at 4oz per fill up.
R99 and B20 refer to two different types of fuel blends, primarily distinguished by the amount and type of renewable or biodiesel content:
B20 is a blend of biodiesel and conventional petroleum diesel. B20...
I'm not sure, maybe slightly contaminated at collection since I got it from the collection pan and not while it was flowing down. But if anything I would have expected more (Boron & Magnesium), not less. So I don't think that's it.
Bellow are the first 3 oil changes that I done on Black stone...
