That makes sense. I think leaving it empty after draining it would be winter proof though? Priming it back on if needed seems to be close to what you’d be doing on a normal refill and maybe a couple of ON/OFF to prime the line? Just speculating, don’t have a tune.
Not as far as I know, I would...
Many do. They just don’t support OBDII flash yet but bench flashing (no need to open ECU) is available and working.
Usually the flashing evolves:
1. Bench flash, ECU open (mostly hardware attack)
2. Bench flash, ECU stays closed (software, because the protection/encryption keys were retrieved...
You’re talented friend, congrats on going through with your project. Always a good feeling when it looks nice at the end and does what it’s supposed to do.
Interested in other people’s answer about this.
Would be nice if when one buy a tune, that they actually know what is in it. But since EOC & others are selling the same thing to everyone they can’t effectively tell you and go as far as locking the ECU so only them can change or modify it...
I'd like to buy your 5VN10RXFAN part, even if scratched up. Would consider buying both if the price is right.
Put the California flag but would consider shipping as well.
Thanks
“Oh no only 1600lb of payload?!”
lol how much does your gladiator have already? Last I checked mine was closer to 1000lb than 1600lb. Would be a lot nicer for the camper. I think it’s right on the money, 4 cylinders are fine, I’m just worried about the hybrid stuff not being reliable. But looks...
Looks like we're aligned on this (rear door & actuator on original circuit).
Thanks for reporting!
Relay should be easy to do as well (and maybe needed with the 5th for the rear door?) if one has a battery in the back or tap onto a stronger circuit like maybe the trailer plug?
PETG is good but not the best available for the long term. Not sure where you landed on your research just sharing this here:

Lights look very nice ??
Planning on using their remote or the tailgate lock signal wire?
I'd like to interface to that lock wire, just haven't checked what's the output of it and if it's compatible with those. Since they're actuators I think it'll work as they rest at 0V.
Oh sh** $192 for the whole kit?
That’s exactly what I needed.
EDIT: misses the rear barn door, still need to find a good affordable (to me) system for that part. But the side windows would be all covered with this kit.
@Artec , do I understand correctly that one can buy separately:

Sorry I was unclear, I poured into the pan/container, no filter. Then, I used said container to put into the now empty (new) oil jugs through the filter that came with my funnel. So it’s possible the original pan/container thing was contaminated and I missed it. I still have the old filter but...
Good idea, and honestly I’m not sure exactly when this was introduced. I think I’ll dump at 3k in a brand new container, assess and put it back in. I have to install a Fumoto valve anyway soon so I’ll do that in the same time.
Changed my oil on Friday, when dumping the old one in containers it went through a mesh filter meant to stop big particles and oh boy did it stop some. Any idea why it’s even there if the oil filter is working properly (mopar)? Any takes on what it is? Looks fibrous. This is on a 3.0L EcoD. My...
Cool! I think I also did not pay enough attention to how to use the Bleach thing; it seems like you're flushing out the water and refilling it with new water one before using/drinking, right? I think that's the part I got wrong, and it would make much more sense.
That bleach got me a bit worried, especially for drinking water (as advertised).
How about using StarSan? This is used to sanitize Keggs and other things in the Beer crafting industry & other. I use it already on other Kitchen things that need sanitization (juicer, etc.). Did anyone try t?
It's...
