I agree with you guys, but can't some of this stem from sheer ignorance? They see other people "signed the rock" and wanted to do the same thing?
I don't do social media, but you can probably tell by looking at their pages if they are prolific graffiti artists or made a careless mistake...
It's got to be an inside joke at Jeep. I put the wire in there at least 2-3 times before it stays put, but just glancing back at it will make that thing jump right out. My Honda had a molded u-shaped spot on the door that held the cap really well.
2020 with 13k miles on the original aluminum steering gear. No concerns for me.
I find I drive differently now. I hold the wheel a little looser than I would before, allowing for minor corrections on the fly. You don't want to hold the wheel perfectly still. I can drive straight with one...
I have the halogens and I don't notice them being all that bad. I don't use my fog lights either - do other people just leave them on all the time or is it context dependent (actual fog?)
I do use the high beams but rarely am I out on a rural stretch at night.
Hard to miss what you never had IMO.
I also have a Pixel 3A and use AA very regularly.
In short, it's buggy.
I find that the cable loses connection fairly often (Uconnect tells me to get a better cable, but it works just fine about 80% of the time).
When it loses connection (akin to you unplugging the phone) it sometimes refuses...
It's been a while since I watched The People's Court.
It seems like these sort of cases were always on with Judge Judy and involved shady mechanics and a car that was somebody's sister's boyfriend's.
I guess I should try to record it one day. I need the Tappet Brothers and their unparalleled ability to decipher engine sounds reproduced by mouth.
It sounds like you're rolling your R's briefly.
I had a similar experience. I was pretty sure I wanted a gladiator but having read about the steering issues I wanted to see for myself. I went to the closest dealer and walked around the lot waiting to take a test drive. They wanted me to test drive a base Sport model..... I declined and...
Same with me and my 2020 automatic. I turn up the radio fairly loud which drowns it out and eases my mind. But when the top comes back off next summer it'll bug me again.
This is the exact scenario I have described before, and the most reproducible if I want to make it rattle.
It also...
Glad you made it out and trusted your instincts.
Hoping you have a full recovery. Living well is certainly not in vain - despite our genetics. It may have very well have kept you alive long enough to make it to the hospital.
That being said, somebody did buy that house. They either drive a taxi or make frequent use of one, because there's a van taxi parked in the driveway in both the 2013 and 2014 street view photos.
Eh, HSS means "Hollow Structural Section" in my line of work. I had never heard of high speed steel until, now. You learn something new everyday if you pay attention! I can see how the abbreviation would be confusing.
Check your insurance to see if you're covered for Med Pay. There may be other names for it. This will give you money upfront to pay for doctor's bills. If you wait for the other guy's insurance the bills will have racked up by then.
Also, if you think you may need to go to the doctor...
I did check finally. All of the regular lug nuts were tight. The remaining three locking ones were loose. I can't tell you "how loose" but I had to turn the wrench a good 1/8/-1/4 turn to get it to click, maybe more. The others it clicked without budging.
I'm yanking your chain but I'm beginning to think you deserve it.
You're complaining about the intricate complexities of predicting future events (only a few days in advance) but then boiling down equally complex variables into a simple average (at least with regard to the regional nature of...
