  1. Tempted by a bronco

But yet you will jump on a totally new design from Ford,,,, really. IMO, the Bronco needs a few years to mature.
  2. Amateur Owner: Adding lift and tires

I read that Clayton make some good stuff. With 35's you need 0 lift. 35s will not hurt the factory ball joints. I would keep the lift low like 2 inches. You got plenty to spend money on,,, bumpers, rock rails, winch, overlanding equipment. Go to the Overland expo in Flagstaff in May.
  3. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

If you want a nice highway street ride a performance or sport shock is not what you want. 5100s and Falcons are digressive (stiff). You can do firm springs with soft shocks and firm shocks with soft springs but not both. Front CA angle will make a stiff ride. 4 inch lift is going to transfer...
  4. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

With my JKUR, 3 sets of springs and 3 sets of shocks. I was so sick of it when done I sold it. I learned a lot.

  6. Tempted by a bronco

The 7 year warranty on my Gladiator will be over in 7 years. I'll start looking at Bronco in 6. You can have the new I6 , 400HP in the Gladiator next year. In years past I have had 3 Broncos.
  7. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

Take it from someone that learned by doing it several times. Do it right the first time even if it costs more. Never enough money to do it right the first time but always money to do it over again.
  8. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

Didn't read all 20 pages ,,, but,, TeraFlex and MetalCloak both make a larger progressive bump stop that might band-aid the issue. When I touch the suspension I'll be adding the TF ones.
  9. Frame flex on JTR? How much?

The ARE fiberglass shell is close to the cab and I have not herd of any contact.
  10. All dash warning lights flashing. Wipers running, while engine is off

E mails and phone calls. Document everything. Be nice. Ask questions,,, who have they contacted? Get JeepCares in the loop.
  11. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

That is one pricy piece of aluminum. I had rampage Recovery bumpers F & R on my JK and they were heavy boogers. I like the total front protection look.
  12. Mopar Performance Rock rail guys

I found them but they are $1100. Will they really take a hit and protect the rocker?
  13. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

I will go with a Rock Hard full width aluminum winch ready. Where can I find one.
  14. Sleeping in the bed under a cap, a project starts!

Nothing like a good 5 gallon bucket. It does everything. Wash food and clothes. Carry water. Wash face and hands and when needed you can poop in it. The metal ones can heat water by the fire.
  15. 6th gear most of the time.

Just put 315-70-17 BFG KO2 Cs on and I hit 8th just like I did before. They are really only 34.25 tall. Plenty big enough for me with no other adjustments.
  16. Automatic Transmission fluid change interval s on 2021 JT

I just got my '22 JTR and in about 6-7 years it will have 50K on it. By then I'll be ready to get a new one and I'll be in my middle 70's. Not going to even think about the tranny fluid change.
  17. Oh snap there might be a DPF Delete now :D

This forum should steer clear of the global warming/ climate change debate. Not going to change anyone beliefs or feelings about it. Fact is, it's not legal to modify or remove smog devices anywhere in the US as they are Federal laws. A diesel suite I am on has banned al delete talk to avoid EPA...
  18. Mopar 2" lift

Sorry, TF = Tera Flex. Got the 315-70-17 BFG KO2s on today and it looks great with no lift. Many have said it's the perfect look for the JT. I don't want to make it a PITA to get in and out for no reason. Done Rubicon a few years ago and don't need to re-visit with this JT.
  19. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I got my 315-70-17 BFG KO2s C today. Look great, big enough for me. Will never rub. They give the factory 7.5 rims plenty of rim protection. Track better on the fwy at 80mph than the Peaks. Holds the gears and shifts great, no re program for them. Won't go to 37s ever. Now waiting for my...
