I’m looking to paint an Amfib snorkel before I install it, but the shop I took it to said it wouldn’t work well - that the paint wouldn’t hold and they wouldn’t warranty the work.

The S1 appears to be a spot pattern? You’d want a flood or wide pattern for ditch/side lights. As for output, lumens don’t tell the story as well as lux, candela, and beam width which I’m not seeing on Baja’s site.
Man, the weather here are in north TX has started getting really nice. It’s got me rolling my windows down on the way to work and wishing I were headed to any of the places in this thread rather than an office building.
They were traveling from Yankee Boy Basin towards Ouray so they would have had the outside lane, nearest the edge. There is no guardrail and of course you can’t see your passenger side tire placement. Could be a million reasons why it happened, though.
