Has there been an updated version of the cap or at least the locks since you got yours? I think I saw some people say that SmartCap shipped them new locks that don’t freeze or have some kind of rubber over them.

Looking for a roof rack to hold an awning. I also eventually plan on replacing my clamshell RTT with a wedge so will need to maybe look at low profile to allow for tent to hang over cab a bit.

Can you dm me a pic of that slide from the back? I'm wanting to install a slide and then a Clearview drop slide on top of it. My 75 fridge is stout and the Clearview model I need is 27" wide. I think I can make it work and still get my roam box in but not 100%

interesting. I have a 12v in the bed I installed that has a switch. So even when truck is on, if switch isn’t on, that 12v won’t be draining. I did see some other forum users here say they aren’t comfortable with a hot wire running the length of the vehicle. Not sure if the Aux solution fixes that

I had a shop install mybed 12v toa fuse to a battery. Is there an advantage of applying it to an Aux switch? Like is yours connected to that fuse box?

the weird part is that usually if you don’t have that option (switch for power in the back) you would have a spot to insert that later. For example, my rubicon didn’t come with Aux switches but it had an empty slot for adding it later - same as power cutout in the bed. Same as the ac plug in...

Fair - but is your concern any bed power? That is to say if I got an outlet in the bed from the factory, would that be as much of a concern or do they wire it differently? Genuinely curious as I’m very new to this.
