This is a nice looking truck - the lift, rims and tires help a lot. I still think the JT has a niche all to itself though and well sell well at first.
A big threat is the Colorado Bison and ZR2 and I still think the Ranger Raptor will be coming to the USA and that's a real threat to the JT...
I listened to this and thanks for providing the link - pretty soft answer on the question relating to alternative cabs (e.g. two-door). I think within three years Jeep will have at least added an extended cab.
The truth is there are many buyers out in the market who prefer an extended cab configuration (that's my preference) and others may even want a regular cab - it's really ok for us to have a platform to express that - please move on to another thread if you don't like what is said here...
Well, what ya know - the so-called "lifestyle needs" being met by an extended cab mid-size truck
Perhaps Jeep can get the point that they need more than a crew cab configuration for the Gladiator....
I think starting pricing for all trim levels of the Gladiator is going to be within $4k to $5k of the Wrangler Unlimited. So under this prediction the starting MSRP for a Gladiator Sport will be in the range of $35,445 to $36,445. Based upon the pricing of the JL (of which I own a 2018 Rubicon 2...
I understand your point. But it's so frustrating because FCA/Jeep is so close to having the Gladiator be a premium vehicle AND have it also appeal to those of us who want a longer bed and shorter cab. I have heard ad nauseam about the "lifestyle" intent for a single configuration and all the...
I guess I do not understand this "work truck" label. Jeep will tell us that the new Gladiator has a "best in class" 7,600 lbs towing capability and can haul 1,600 lbs. hell that's better than my Ram 1500! Yet they resist saying this can appeal to a "work truck" lifestyle....why??? These numbers...
I agree with what you're saying 100%. It especially pisses me off that Jeep/FCA left off the differing cab variants and bed lengths in response to many who have hounded Jeep since the 2005 Gladiator concept to build a pickup truck again. The Jeep design chief specifically said: This truck was...
Heavy duty truck sales - particularly diesel models are a completely different animal due to the towing capability as they are most often used for towing rv's such as fifth wheels. My brother owns a 3500 Ram Limited with a Cummins (gorgeous truck BTW) and he purchased it for his 14,000 lb. fifth...
I am not interested in the two door for my particular lifestyle needs. I support and hope that Jeep builds an extended cab Gladiator as shown with the original 2005 concept that started the modern-era Jeep pickup movement. Although I do support those who prefer a two cab configuration - I...

This is a feature article right now on Pickuptrucks.com - it speaks to the core attribute of the Tacoma - the number of variants offered - hopefully Jeep can do the same with the...
