We are too!
What a great price on a new JT!
Cool that even the base models come with power windows and door locks now.
Sounds like you're a bit like me and look for deals on mods for the JT. Really good price on that full Rubicon suspension too. If it was me, I'd hold out for set of 35" tires...
Are those the Go Rhino steps? I was looking at a set of those too, but were out of my price range. Nice and clean look and plenty of space to place your foot, or proper paw placement, LOL
After having nothing when I bought it to a set of Mojave rock rails and now a set of OEM side steps, I really like OEMs and the look. Much easier for everyone, including the dog, to get in and out now. Also something to keep in mind, is some require you to step on certain areas. We can step...
I don't wheel anymore. Did a ton when I was younger and had my 1995 ZJ on a hybrid 6.5" lift. Did local runs, Moab, etc.
My wife and I are Jeep people and we've have had a few over the years. Now, I'm just using my JT as my daily driver and enjoying the ride in retirement. When I bought mine...
Can't say for sure if it matches the Rubicon gray or not. I just wanted to match what I currently have. Mine does not have the front camera. The vendor I bought it from may have them but I didn't look for it since I didn't need one. I preassembled the non-painted parts of the grill today. Was...
The Rocktrix wheels are really good quality especially for the price. The finish was great too. I did go with the -12 offset since I like a little more poke.
Both my JKU and JT are strictly daily drivers. So no flex to report on.
You shouldn't have any problems. I ran a 2" Mopar lift on metric 35s without issue. I ran Falken 35s and -12 offset Rocktrix wheels on my JKU and no rubbing.
Now I'm running -12 offset Fuel wheels and 37" Falkens and still no issues with the JT
I liked the new look grill more and more over time, so I bought one too. I just it got in today.
I looked for one that had the headlight bezel buckets and grill opening bezels painted gunmetal gray like I currently have. Some I had run across were all black.
Gotta wait for temps to warm up...
Looks like they are working well.
I wasn't a big fan either, but with the offset on my wheels, I decided to get the Rokblokz front mud flaps only. I didn't see a need for the rears as I live in the suburbs and the roads are all paved. I bought the XL. We got some pretty good snow in the last...
I really like the '24 grills too and ended up buying an aftermarket one on eBay that'll need the trim pieces to get painted black to match mine. Since then (yesterday), someone posted you can get pre-painted ones from eBay too for only around $50 more. About $230 for the gloss black one. Not...
Short answer - Yes, it will look goofy with the 3" lift with OEM tires BUT may spur you to getting the new larger tire sooner.
I think you would be good with a leveling kit. Your installer may suggest getting shock extension brackets?
There are a lot of people that have simply run leveling kit...
Yeah, something's not right with your upgraded tire size and your speedo for sure. Going from basically a 33" tire to a 37" is a big jump. Not sure why the speed sensors would not work after the install.
And to answer your earlier question, by adjusting your tire size (actual measured size)...
