Looks good tucked away in the garage. I like the Sunrider on yours and am considering buying one in the Spring. Used though, prices are high for new. Keep us posted on the progress.
My nephew lives in San Diego and said it is pouring down there. Hopefully not too much to cause mudslides after...
I think it would look fine for sure. It's just the exterior trim of the grill that's painted. The rest of the grill is unpainted on ours now and holds up. Super easy to remove the grill and pop the new one in
Oops yes, you were specific about temp climbing hills. Maybe you can DM him and ask.
I guess you could always get one of those pre-painted ones that STACHES mentioned above and give it a try, but its $230. Wish I had seen that before ordering my unpainted Grill.
Reply from the OP on the first page: Sounds like, in his small sample, it did reduce the temps. He's in Phoenix and we know how hot it gets there in the summer:
Well, hell. That's a really good price, depending on paint work quality. I never searched for a pre-painted one. I just checked Distinction Applied's website. That painted aftermarket one was $545.
I'll use my local trusted painter after mine arrives.
I ended up pulling the trigger on this eBay one. It was originally listed at $189 and I was able to get it for $165 after negotiating and eBay offering $10 off if purchased through their app, so $178 shipped.
Same seller has dropped the price now to $170.99. Good price if anyone if interested...
Replace my soft tri-fold tonneau cover with a aluminum flip up tri-fold cover. Plan on doing lots of road trips in retirement and this hard cover will give us a bit more security. And adding 3/4" spacer up front to level it out.
I'm running the Mopar 2" lift. Mine is only a daily driver and performs really well on the road. Took a round trip from Nebraska to San Diego in May with zero issues. Very happy with the setup.
The kit does come with everything you need, springs, shocks, longer lower control arms & longer...
I really like these taillights and I can appreciate their great customer service. They really do look great, but for the price of these, why is something always going wrong with them? Customers getting 1, 2 sets and having things go wrong with them again. You would think that through the years...
Mopar 2" Lift, Adjustable Front & Rear Track Bars, Fox Steering Stabilizer. 37x12.5x18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W on 18" -12 OS Matte Black Fuel Rebel 5 wheels.
Mine's a daily driver and this setup works great for my needs
Benny, I am looking for a 2024 Grill Assembly without the camera or lock opening to swap in my 2021 JT.
Do you have a price on these and can they be ordered already painted?
Thanks, Bob
Gotta say, I really like this change. I liked it as soon as I saw this thread actually but couldn't find a decent priced one.
I have now. I'm going to go to a local body shop tomorrow to get a quote to get it painted and, if its reasonable, I will be ordering
