They’ll work okay, but they are not 3 peak, heavily siped, etc.
You can have discount tire sipe them.
mine never left me stranded or unable to navigate. Of course, there comes a point that there is just too much and you need a snow cat. ;)
Do they even sell Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 diesels?
if so, I’d have no issues. Parts and design can/are different from one diesel to the next, but fundamentals are all the same.
Welcome to quadratec. You are not the only one. They are one of my retailers of last resort.
They used to be better. I’d like to say it is pandemic related, by my experience is the same going back 5+ years now.
Wheel speed side to side be different.
I do believe it senses on an individual wheel.
drive shaft speed difference, I do believe, only matters for an AWD/full time case.
It’s really only an issue with full time 4wd/awd.
on a part time t-case, no real issue.
If you’re concerned, just shave the one Tire. That is the acceptable method on an AWD vehicle. (And is recommended by Subaru for their vehicles)
yeah, it will make some bad noises flopping around in there.
On my old JK, even when it started slinging grease, it was making enough noise to be heard over M/T tires and that gosh awful minivan motor.
what others have said, leave it on. Works like magic. ut then again, it is fun to turn it off and drift the big ol' girl.
If she gets too tippy or steps out too far, the nannies will still kick in. I can still get it completely sideways before the nannies override my having overridden the system.
Where the front output shaft of the transfer case mates with the drive shaft?
I could of sworn it's a CV joint there. u-joint where the driveshaft mates with the output on the axle itself.
I'll have to look at mine and see.
someone should jump on this. $1,100 is a GOOD deal. Brand new you're looking at $1,368.80+shipping, so probably about $1,500.00. (best I could find)
17"x8.5", perfect wheel for a 12.5 or 13.5 wide tire, IMO.
