If you’ll make $$, seems a no brainer. Buy another at below invoice and carry on.
Seems the cams and engine ticks are popping up more on the 3.6l.
(Bearing in mind that Internet forums seem to draw people with issues making it seems like something is a huge problem)
It seems shady when a company as big as AMSOIL won’t pony up $5k for the certs. That’s pocket change to them.
What are they hiding?
Heck, even $50k would be pocket change to them. They are a multimillion dollar company.
I’ve got 1/2” Teraflex spacer up front with my mopar 2” lift. I’m a diesel. No issues, no spring bowing. With oem metal bumper and winch, I have some rake, not as much as factory, but I’m not perfectly level, either.
I’m sorry for all your trouble. I’ve posted on FB their failings.
I hope it all gets worked out.
Boycotting of AMSOIL seems like a good step to punish a company who won’t stand up for their customers.
Looks like someone removed the rock rail and put on plastic sliders? I’d mention this in trying to get a better deal.
If it’s not a really good deal and you can wait, I’d recommend ordering from Gupton who will do like 8% below invoice. Which is just about the same price as used.
Store a slightly hungry rot/pit/Dober mix under the bed cover.
That will stop them, but then you’ll get sued for the dog bite.
Diamondback looks to be pretty secure.
Decked system (not a tonneau) looks very secure.
That’s lifted, for sure. Looks like the mopar 2” lift.
Is it used? Looks like a lot of spray from driving around. Possibly the GM, Sales managers demo?
I hope it’s a demo, Jeep gives the dealership like an extra $2,500 for them. This means you have an additional $2,500 in bargaining power...
Do you have the aux switches?
If so, diode dynamics has what is essentially plug and play. Their wiring harness uses the factory ground right by the aux + wire, which is all next to the battery. Two wire hook up, right next to each other.
So, I’ve been critical of marketing and having posted the SS5 on a non-Jeep vehicle here.
I applaud DD’s response and I applaud their continued exceptional support and customer service.
I’ve now interacted with them here, on the website, and by phone.
Singular word comes to mind, Excellence...
I vote rear. On many of the Colorado switchbacks, I’ll engage the rear locker. This allows me to finesse things with little to no wheel spin.
Wheel spin gets me off my line and inevitably moves me closer to the edge.
Using a front makes it where I can’t turn as sharp or smoothly.
Placed my order! Thank you!
SS3 max white, two sae fog amber lenses, and the heavy duty wiring harness.
Can’t wait to get it all in.
I’ll be installing them on top of my factory metal bumper.
Okay, one more question, but on my gladiator.
I have stock oem metal bumper with a warn 10s winch.
For the bumper light bar, which mount to clear the winch?
I like the double row but worried about clearance.
I’m sure most 2” lifts will solve it, especially if they are diesel specific.
Even a spacer will help some, if you don’t increase the bump stop.
I can really only guarantee that a 2” lift by spring that is diesel specific fixes it.
Sure, you hit any bump hard enough you’ll still bottom out.
