I’ll take your “demand” into consideration…
in other news, the Gladiator has sprung another CEL. This one has a TSB associated. So, back to the dealership for service.
Had the Jeep back now for a bit and have put just shy of 5k on her. A check engine light came on this past Thursday. Considering these two weeks are the busiest of the year for me work wise and then the next month is jam packed with family birthdays and an annual Aulani trip, I am not sure when...
Back to “build” subjects.
The factory steel rubicon bumper is designed to house a winch. MOPAR specifically uses Warn winches in their design for their bumpers. So, naturally, I purchased the MOPAR winch plate kit.
The instructions are kinda crap. I understand they have to accommodate all...
I’ve done a thorough inspection already. It’s ship shape.
I don’t mind uninstalling the AFE intake. It’s a good excuse to get elbows deep into the engine bay and poke around to see what was touched by the diesel tech at the dealership.
Ok, I’ve driven the truck all day for work and the check engine light came on after about 75 miles since picking it up from the dealership. The code being presented is the CCV code the intake has thrown before. I plan on swapping the AFE intake out tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, it won’t return...
New injectors
New pump
New fuel rails
New fuel lines
New filter

Le sigh. The saga continues.
An update to my HPFP failure and it’s repair.
I received a call from the dealership that my JT is repaired and ready for pickup tomorrow morning. When I get the paperwork I will post the relevant information.
I’m happy to get my truck back. I’ve missed having the top off for the summer so far.

“An update:An update:
The service advisor called this morning to inform me of the regional reps decision. They have decided to replace my fuel system with currently available parts.
This leads me to believe that the “recall fix” is still up in the air. Rumors have been floating about that...
