@doc-ketamine Oh no, why did you change your profile pic? This is like putting a profile pic of your run-over dog on a pet forum lol. It's so sad, you should be showing the good times!
It wasn't the other guys Jeep, it was his sisters. He was uninsured but she has insurance. What will likely happen is doc's insurance will take on the burden initially and either have an agreement with her insurance or go after them for the damages (also common).
This exactly. This is why you want gap insurance. People on here saying don't get it are playing the same odds game that the insurance company is and guess what, people lose on this every day. It's the same exact thing to me as regular insurance. Do I need it on a typical day (other than it's...
Check who you financed through. Here in IN it's mandatory to have gap on a lease so I don't have to worry about it. When I was buying my old car after my lease I asked my insurance if they could provide gap and they said they only could if I used them for the loan. I told them to come down...
It sucks to see this happen but it does give more confidence in the truck seeing how it turns out when it does happen. I don't think I've seen a wrecked Gladiator that look like it came out the winner and the occupants being fine. Glad you're ok but honestly you probably want this to be totaled...
I was talking for pure trail purposes. It recommends you don't just ride around with it when not going wheeling. While the sweater one would be fun to ride around for a month as well, I can't justify the price as far as using that as protection. $700 for the plastic vinyl stuff is steep.
Lol, that would be awesome! For maybe $150-$200. For $700 though? No chance in hell. I would still love to have 1 but for $700 for the truck it's still really salty. I could see maybe $300-$400 for these and it would have many more buyers. I just can't imagine plastic bits like this would cost...
Tell your friend she can jump in on it! Only Jeeps will probably know what it is so she may wanna stick with giving it to just them. Also, since she doesn't have a Jeep (yet) maybe she should get some toy geese to hand out?
Sounds like a great way to get some shit started. I'm in no way going to participate in that one lol. I guess if someone wants to throw a wad of cash at me I'll be slightly upset but then better real quick and even say thanks. Hell I'd probably tell them to try again.
If anyone would like to...
Lol, thanks man. Been a yr and I'm still in love. Forgot to keep my freedom panel bag in my truck though. Could've taken them off today as it's starting to get warmer out. I'll try to remember for the rest of the week. Have to keep them with me though since it still gets colder at night.
I love that this is gaining steam :) People are finding a way to have a little fun and make mundane activities (stores, errands, etc...) a little brighter. It's small things like this that make a difference in a day.
Lol, well this is devolving quickly. Let's just agree there are idiots and that some of us are armed for a reason and get on with the fun this thread is meant to be.
I've had them on my door handle and on my hood just below the wiper, both on hard plastic surfaces that a soft plastic/rubber...
