I ended up doing a hybrid installation. Every fastener they provided that was stainless I used, which actually was only one per flap. I replaced all the carbon steel stuff that could rust with OEM type plastic rivets.

FWIW I am 6'-5" and 245. I am quite comfortable in the JL and the JT. Now I won't say I have any extra room and everything is moved to give its max amount of room.

More of us need to harass Quadratec to put out one of their softbond 5 layer covers for the Gladiator. I have already asked. I have one for the JL and for $70 it is pretty decent. If this didn't exist, I would have popped for the Rain Gear.
