Yup, bikes here as well and I drive a Miata.
There is a Miata wave thing too, but its a bit less common anymore (ND's rarely wave to prev gens) and there are FAR less on the roads.
I am serious about saying "don't wave" to myself.
Yup, Learned with the Wrangler what a difference they make.
I have Mopar knock offs on the Wrangler and Weathertechs on the Gladiator because it has rock rails.
Boots protect the tops, they reduce the wind flap and offer UV protection.
I love my soft top, but it does flap when open at higher speeds.
I would not use it every day, just as I don't remove the rear window and side panels every day.
More so when I plan to keep it open for a bit longer and...
Any other Snazzberry owners notice fading on the hood and front fender tops?
After only 2 years mine has become noticeably faded compared to the sides.
Wranglers pick up a LOT more tire/road noise than the Gladiator based on the fact the rear wheel wells are inside the same space you are.
So I would bet if you think a tire on a Gladiator is a tad louder, it would be a notably louder on a Wrangler
FWIW I have put ours on & off by myself fully assembled a few times now.
One trick I do is use velcro straps near the front to hold the top to the door rails in the closed position.
That way I can push or hold the top from the middle to get it in place and align everything.
Once aligned, remove...
If you truly will only be trailering 2 times a year, I would feel comfortable with being at the high end of the trucks rating.
Take your time, drive very conservatively.
Take a separate vehicle or 2 trips if you also have lots of stuff to bring too.
I also used to trailer a 24' sailboat to/from...
The Sunrider doesn't really give the front as much either.
I was a bit disappointed that our heads are in the shade.
Its less than the freedom panels, which is less for the front than a soft top.
Its is very quick and convenient though.
I think the Sunrider & hardtop on the JL/Wrangler makes sense as the hard top still has a few benefits on the JL/Wrangler platform.
Like less noise, the rear hatch feature and the rear wiper/washer.
It also does offer a bit more security as the slash & grab is typically through the back.
I like...

FWIW I bought this one, from this supplier a couple of years ago.
The Colorado cover fits the Gladiator fine.
I honestly think its the same cover without the Jeep name upcharge.
Its a bit cheaper than any of the "Gladiator" covers on Amazon.
They ship out...
That one is the front one (or middle if you want to call it that)
The one with with the slot that the top pin slides into.
The photo of the part is is a top view.
If I see your photo correctly yours is broken under that slot.
If so, PN 68466054AA is the one you need.
The rear one looks like...
