Just put them on earlier this week and broke it them in this weekend for a few hundred miles. So far I'm loving them. Super smooth and quiet. Good traction on the little rain and mud we had on the trails. This replaced a set of Toyo RTs with well over 40k miles. They got pretty loud a bit...
Not quite finish, but enough for this past weekend trip. Favorite mod so far is the water spigot. I did zip tie a piece of hose on the spout to keep it clean. Still need to reinstall the cupboard and add a shelf. Switched out the Toyo RT for Baja Boss AT. Pretty happy with the change so...
Don't know if its the best, but it's a well known brand and has done pretty well so far. I do feel it's can be better and some of the newer competition may have added some improvements. My biggestpet peave is the door locks. They can be a bit fiddley to lock and unlock. Also, some of the...
Thought the same thing. Liked them more when they had reasonably priced prefab kits that are sent as flat packs for a dyi-ish job. Almost bought this bed plate since they're local to me but I decided to spend the money on tools. It ended up costing quite a bit more in tools and parts. But I...
started the process of redesign/organize the rear. I wanted to keep things simple and save weight where I can. Took most of the day making the bed floor plate from 3/4" birch. That took a lot longer than I thought trying to make cutouts for all the nooks and cranies. Ended up cutting out...
I find it kinda funny worrying about lipo4 charging below 30* F, at least for our purposes. Most people only use it for light and some usb charging with the main draw being the fridge. At 30* and below, my fridge draws nothing. My 100ah lipo4 can last at least a week, problably much more (h4...
Nice setup! I run a national luna dual battery kit in my 4runner. That was before Lifepo4 and the dual agms was to power a fridge. Deep cycle agms don't last very long without charging. It did save my butt a handful of times though. With the Gladiator, I run a house lifepo4 in the back and...
I really like the combination of Terra acoustics in the dash and just stuffing the sound bar. I'd say it's significant enough of a difference for me to not go further. I'd upgrade the knee pods before the speaker bar though. It would be weird to most of the sound shift behind and above my head.
That kinda suck, missing those two features and having such a hefty price tag. Looks like it's more prudent to get the power wagon and drop 30k on aftermarket parts.
Had another kid and I half heartedly priced out a PW. Holy hell! Those things are well over 80k before ttl. Kinda wish I had gotten one in from start now that I need more space. 3 kiddos in the back of the gladiator is tight.
