Your setup looks fantastic!. That bike rack is perfect. Which brand is that? Any problem with the rotopax fuel can on the roof? I'm concern with leakage from the swelling and also having the sun beat down on them. Thanks!
Looks great! Did you have to do any mod to fit the 37s? Trailer stock rims correct? I've been wanting to go to 37s so I don't have to carry a spare on the trailer and can use the spare tire cage for other things.
I have a Curt Echo. Works well enough for me as I tow less than a handful of times a year plus my trailer fully loaded is around 2k lbs. I can see the neeed of a wired system if I was dragging a 4k lbs plus trailer. And yes, it sucks that the tow package does not come with a controller...
We recently went through this. If i left it to her, we would have ended up with a Tesla. Don't think that would work well for us as a family car. Long trips would suck. I really liked the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer but did agree with her that one Jeep is enough for now. We finally settled...
I was a bit gunshy after my recent experience with Jeep dealership. I think Jeep has lost a lot of potential repeat customers due to their poor service.
We need a new family vehicle and really like the wagoneer and grand wagoneer. But have decided that one Jeep at a time would be better. We just picked up a '24 sequoia. It's not as nice as the wagoneer but I feel more confident with Toyotas reliability and service. Will see how that goes...
I think if you're a flatlander either will work on 37s. I was up at Big Bear in Socal this weekend. Even with 5.13s I wanted more going up. I was pushing her pretty hard keeping up with the traffic speed (55mph). I would have regretted going with 4.88.
I did. And my dealer were having issues running their scan. I had to come in to unmarry the darn thing. I'm not sure what happened. Could have just been a glitch.
Similar thing happened to me. So I just pulled the Tazer completely and ran a Jscan to make the necessary changes like tire size and gearing permanent.
With the odd issues of the stock dual battery system, I find it prudent to separate my "house" battery from the truck. It's easy enough to run a solar panel (175w thin flexy for me) to a mppt or dc-dc mppt charger a 100ah lipo4 and have your fridge plugged in semi permanently. I actually just...
Call them up. I got a set of baja boss 37s out the door for $1800. They couldn't/wouldn't match my price match at $100 less per wheel, but offered me the otd price. Good enough for me. I enjoy their service and it's worth the extra few bucks.
Say what? This is not political. This is about poor service, poor training and greed. And you know... personal responsibility. Jeep dealership has given me the worst experience. And that's pretty much the general consensus.
On another note, I'm picking a 24' Toyota Sequoia tomorrow with...
Everything sounded good until " economy continues it's downward spiral". I have no idea what this means. Prices are high because people continue to spend like crazy. That won't change til people stop buying. And about the coming recession, it's cyclical, up and down trends of the economy...
