I've learned to check them more frequently, at least before every trip. Mine spun loose after a "spirited" trail run once. Had to make an hour drive to town to pick up a wrench large enough. Now I carry that wrench with me lol.
Probably going to order a set off these...
We're in a similar situation. Bought the gladiator when we only had two kids, now we are a family of 5. It's cramp with a baby car seat. We picked up a '24 Sequoia and boy is that thing roomy in comparison. We can easily fit 3 across with baby carseat and a booster seat with room to spare...
Visited St. George for the first time last september. Holy hell, you the sun beating down on you from above the asphalt hitting you for the ground up. But within a 30min to hour drive, the temp seem to have dropped 20* F and it's beautiful. I have half a mind to move there but am too rooted...
Im not doom scrolling. I'm doing fine, love where I live and can afford to stay. We were simply having a discussion about younger people having the ability to own home in cities and states where they grew up in and/or want to live in. No skewed zip code here. It appears where you are is more...
I think that right time to "get in" is long gone. Not sure when you got your house, but a quick search shows median house price (for sale) in OC is just under $1.3 mil. I'm sure you can get something for around $800k but its a fixer upper. My brother just got a condo and it was a decent deal...
LOL. Congrats on your success. But you're the outlier. That does not count toward the median statistic that's being discussed here. You sound like one of those infomercial about how to get rich by taking my course. It's easy to do. I'll show you how.
If they slap on an IFS front, then there's no reason for me not to get a Toyota on the next round. They've just lost their edge with the mid size pick up truck segment and open themselves up for a whole lot more head to head competition (which they already are facing).
finally installed the hellwig rear swaybar. I would say it made a significant change in the handling with my heavyish build. Feels a lot more planted and stable during lane changes, around corners and high wind.
Had to downgrade from a 65L fridge to a 30L but it's enough for 2 people. Can't put as many drinks in the there though. Waiting for the utility cupboard to show up.
I was going to just build a shelf but decided on the ammo box slide for easier access to the lower bed space. Installed per instructions, I think it's a couple of inches below the bed height. But you can flip the mounting ends and have the shelf at about bed height.
I concur with everyone, check your nuts and bolts. That fixed my dw. It's time for new tires. That was my 2nd ride quality issue (weird rumble at low speed). It was uneven tire wear. Happens with aggressive tires.
Anyone mounted the ammo box slide? I'm having some issues with the forward canopy mounting bracket interference with the box slide bracket. Pictures would help immensely. Thanks.
