that is right, mostly rural driving and some highways, light trail and beach driving. currently on 35s and will likely stick with them but might switch over to 37s in future.
If I had the MT I would go 4.88 for sure but with auto I am on the fence
I have a JT Sport S 8 speed auto with stock 3.73 gearing. I am currently running light 35's (315/70/17 BFG TA KO2s) and it drives ok but I want to re-gear. My dilemma is choosing what ratio (I am between 4.56 and 4.88). I may go with 37s down the road (likely BFG TAKO2 37x12.5x17 which are...
I have these wheels, they are really nice and well built. I bought them because they are 8.5" wide so can easily fit 12.5"/315 tires and they have an offset I think the same as the AEV wheels. They are not too expensive, light and best of all Made in USA (factory mopar wheels and most...
I think it is pretty good for the money, wish it had adjustable or longer front track bar (they could have easily added $100 to price and threw that in) I don’t think you need a rear trackbar change or at least I didn’t
I ran 315/70/17 on stock 7.5" wheels in past (now on 8.5")
they work on both, on the 7.5 they look smaller though and as far as I have read they are almost like a poor mans bead lock on 7.5" rims.
I do agree that the 315/70/17 (35 equiv) track slightly due to width, although I feel it is worth...
I appreciate when they say it on some threads as it helps me determine more about how the truck is with lift/tires and rubbing given the wider axles and 4.10s for acceleration.
numbers look good to me, (over 1/3 the sales of the wrangler without canabalizing wrangler sales). I too had a 2016 taco (it was nice but a bit dated and no more fun than a full size), traded it for an F150, then back to Wrangler, then back to Wrangler with F150 and finally switched to...
looks great, I see the molar lift and rubi takeoff wheels....what tire size (looks like 35s) and did you need spacers (my brother is considering getting a gladiator now and wonders if he can run stock backspacing wheels with 35s on a sport)
Awesome JT, where did you get the back tailgate sticker (and how hard was it to install), also did the spare not fit in the stock location (what I have read suggests that BFG in 37x12.5x17 is one of the 37s that fit)
GLWS, great color combo
I second the sting grey comment, I almost bought a black sport S, I would have snatched these up in a minute if I had but not sure about on sting grey (plus I already have painted fenders just not the high ones)......GLWS, seems like a good deal
traded F150 raptor and JL wrangler for gladiator (couldn't resist the deal between the gladiator discounts and the high trade in amounts). No regrets although my wife definitely misses the roomy F150 with the 3 kids (then again she has an escalade so used to the space).....so far I love the...
damn, wish I saw that, would have saved me $100 bucks, although the YETI is really nice it is definitely overkill for me.....similar in size to my dad's old tractor trailer front suspension
I think I would have considered a JT370 on top of my sport s, does it have to be a rubicon or can you add the package to a sport?
I paid 37,600 for sport s, adding on JT370 would put it at 49,700, which is very close to a comparable rubicon but this would swap lockers and discos for 37s, lift...
