I have the earlier version, that doesnt flip up at the cab end. Other than that it seems to have been made on the "good" line in china. Havent had any issues so far w the brand
Getting ready to do my 5th oil change. I see the filter housing doesnt fully drain. Is it supposed to? Leave about a 1/2 cup of dirty oil. Is it supposed to? Last time i sacrificed a shitload of shop towels to get it out. What is a better way? Im not outting this back into the fresh oil
Yeah, im out on that one. I cuda sworn when they annouced it last year it had a similar set up as the gas version. I have an idea in mind to add a second batt, using a deep cycle, w an isolator, and add an inverter wired to the rear bed plug to run extra stuff, ie. camping things, small tools...
Well i have been busy on other projects and havent been on in awhile. i see Genesis advertising their diesel dual batt kit has reduced pricing. Well wtf, they now are showing some under the seat thing, needing my storage area removed. Well that aint gonna work, im full under there. Great, so now...
I dont see a 2" ride right for the diesel, and its in the $3300-3500 range for the 2.5" w no shocks. I already got the lift for $1800, track bars for $190 each, adjustable sway bar links came w kit, if they are too short its very easy to rework them in the shop. Got the shock extensions for...
My whole plan is Mopar 2", adjustable front and rear track bars, adjustable front and rear sway bar links, shock limiters, shock extenders if needed w leveling block, at least a 1-1/2 leveling block on front. I am ready running the Mopar long lower control arms, and am planning on the drop...
Do yall know what height i will get w 2" lift.? Ive heard 2, 2.25, 2.5...i just want it leveled up. I have adjustable track bars front and back and shock extenders also.
I put in a 3/4 spacer awhile back to help level up the front end. Right now im still around 1-1/2 low between the front to rear. I have a spacer kit from teraflex i believe, and thats a 1" + 1/2" spacers. I have the mopar 2" lift kit to go on shortly, and want to add these two blocks on top of...
I was going to retrofit that little inlet to the box myself, but had some concerns of it acting like a "water funnel" if i somehow got into a large water splash
Yeah, i know that may be a factor, but the AFE box has a small opening that i guess they expect the suction to come from a small narrow area of where the hood meets the fender when closed. Super restrictive. I will "massage" the box opening nut reinstall to protect from any potential water...
