My JT brakes are as good as any vehicle I owned. I have had a couple of instances where the engine kept pushing the truck for a brief moment. I chalked it up to the computer learning the balance of engine braking vs fuel economy.
My 2012 JKUR brakes are the worst. They will stop just fine but...
I find the security bits and tools are as common now as the regular drivers.
Public hangings would help. A thief is not a benefit to society, so why let them stay? (Rhetorical question)
Sorry for the OP. I’ve been in his shoes.
True, but these windshields are very delicate. Jeep should have learned from previous Wranglers and designed them to be stronger. Mine was a $900+ experience. We are paying dearly for these and the life expectancy is the shortest I have ever seen.
For reference, I have a 1967 M715 Gladiator...
Agreed. Radiation patterns are affected by so many factors that there is a rather large “art” aspect to this “science”. I’m wise enough to know not to lick an antenna but do figure Houston traffic will kill me before I cook my innards. :)
Not sure why you quoted me to reference a different post than what I replied to. Those were different installs and the ISL affecting exposure levels would differ quite a bit. The details get complicated and even experts don’t agree. As an extra class ham and former broadcast engineer I just...
I think some folks are mixing in old definitions. Things have evolved since the early designs that did run only on electric and then switch to ICE drive when the batteries were down. Reference the documentation for the specific vehicle.
I love a good V8 as much as the next guy, but electric is...
Lots of good info in this thread. I will add that I personally don’t care for the companies that want you to use the “safe driver discount “ tracker modules. The “try it for a while and we will tell you how much money we might save you” scheme really bugs me. They collect your driving data and...
Agreed. Spotted at delivery, that mistake is on factory or dealer prep. Finding it months later just leaves too much exposure with an unsecured hood to firmly lay blame.
I would not be so quick to blame the factory. While a possibility, with that mileage, the real culprit could be a dealership moron or anyone else passing by that just wanted to jack with your truck. So many dirtbags don’t need a reason.
+1 for the Colorado and southwest area. That said, this is a big and beautiful country with so much to offer all over. I think the advice from above is worth repeating.
Just start driving. You will end up where you need to be.
you should research EM radiation and Inverse Square Law fundamentals. 25 watts many inches from your head is baking your noodle less than the cell phone is at your ear.
I “think” my ringer volume is driven by the setting of the phone’s ringer setting. My UConnect ringer volume has been very low lately, I think I turned down recently when I got a call in a very quiet environment.
I would prefer that UConnect would manage the BT/USB ringer volume. I need to...
That panel was a bear to get back into place after I installed my RSE power steps sensor on that door. I spent an hour or two each day for several days making it happen. I think it is all just trim clips but can’t say for certain. It was very hard knowing which way to push on things and to...
I suspect defective main battery. As others have said, bad battery voltage will cause all manner of weirdness.
Take it to the dealer. They likely will replace both. There is a history of bad batteries on these. Take some pics of the voltages you see when you have issues. It is too new to tinker...
