The line isnt down out of choice tho. The line is backed up months in orders, it appears. Seeing as the switchover to MY22 should have happened this summer and production estimates the end of November - - they arent losing any money on orders. They are losing it because of chip/worker shortages...
Because they (appear) to be massively delayed in MY21 production. No need to hype up something you know you cant actually build when you are delayed in what you are promised to build.
People from all over the country order from him. I am in Texas and am getting it from him because he saves me about ~$5k. Worth it to take a little trip.
Now that I have a ship date I am starting to really truly consider all the stuff I want to upgrade. Did any of you have Gupton do a lift/tires/mods, etc?
Do we actually have any idea of the profit margins between trims? Just based on my understanding of x-plan pricing and ford- the more expensive models dont always have the most profit.
Thanks for the reply. I am mainly worried about road quality and a bit bigger for ascetics. I dont plan on off roading outside of easy trails and the beach. Ill keep looking around for tires.
Hey Scott, I am still keeping an eye on these as my build gets closer. Any idea what is a good set of road tires cost for these? Im assuming I can take the sensors off the ones that come with the jeep.
Do you have a specific item holding you up? I was told bedliners were a problem so I didnt order it factory. Ill just get it aftermarket.
I dunno. Im a Sport S and its going very fast. A lot of people with Sports/Max Tows have been getting updates the past week. I think they are a focus right now.
What the heck?!? I ordered 20 days ago and already have a build date. What is wrong with your order?
As for your question, I believe the build dates for MY22s is the end of November according to one post I read.
